Going to apologize if I misled any of you into thinking brother was a small child, he's 15 (the youngest of us three kids). Step-Father = SF.

There's suppose to be a meeting with Teacher, Good Counselor, & mother (Don't know if SF is going) regarding my brother tomorrow. I'm looking to email Teacher about what exactly SF does at home. The question is: Should I wait until I have a voice or video recording of one of SF's obsessive sessions to prove what I'm saying & as evidence I'm not on a mission to make him more miserable/house life more difficult? (Its known I've grown to dislike him & am more than willing to throw him under the bus, so to speak, should something really go down amongst the family.)

Teacher knows he doesn't handle brother's bad days well (if you really watch him, apparently in SF's mind he is the only one entitled to bad days) but I'm not sure she knows just how obsessive he is over them.

Poor brother is being torn down & guilted by this bullshit counselor only to come home to the same confidence breaking, guilting rants by SF. Need to know things have always been emailed to mother by Teacher. I guess Friday was a bad day & Teacher emailed mother about it. Well SF found the email first & proceeded to verbally tear my brother apart. Here's what I remember from the rant:

His inability to let stuff go has been the cause of fisticuffs between him & the two boys on more than once occasion; though its by no means a common occurrence (generally many months apart & when frustrations are already through the roof). His repeat cycle of yelling, walking away, & coming back makes the boys feel threatened enough to throw a punch in self-defense. It's the same every time it happens: SF instigates until one of the boys throws the first punch which is then used against them in the shouting match that always follows. SF is generally loses these matches - coming out with a black-eye in youngest brother's latest & being stuck in a headlock he couldn't get out of in older brother's latest tussle. (Teacher saw the black-eye. She knew who did it & really seemed quite amused when SF sidestepped questions about it.)

From his rantings about the troublemaking counselor on what she does & what I'm gathering from emails, SF does a lot of the same stuff this idiot counselor does. Mother & I have confronted him more than once (all before this mess) about this & it doesn't go well. Ever. Don’t worry. No brawls between the three of us.

TL;DR: The man really needs counseling himself. He's so far removed mentally from all of this that he doesn't see that he's also part of the problem. Mum & I have no freaking clue how to get him to see this.

The one page letter they sent said they wanted my full name, any addresses I've lived at during the last 2 years, d.o.b., ssn (< all of which they received when I asked for my report), a copy of my state ID, & a copy of a bank statement or utility bill in my name but included no instruction on where send the stuff other than "to us" & no contact number. The only address on the letter was their return address of a PO Box in Texas typed in tiny font hiding in a corner of the paper. 😕

There's nothing on my other reports that shouldn't be. Just the various medical accounts that should be there & a couple of inquiries regarding eligibility for a store credit card from stores I desperately needed things from at the time.

I found all of this out last night while trying to apply for financial assistance for health insurance which I can't do until I get this mess straightened out because the identity verification system for the application process is run through Expieran! >c Let it be noted here that I never got my hands on the letter from them until after I tried applying for help. I got it when step-father cleaned off the kitchen table & handed me an 8" thick pile of mail with my name on it. 90% of which was stuff I didn't even know had come in. 😒

A 30 second google search provided a news article saying this was becoming a more & more common occurrence with this company no matter your credit history, but I was too upset after everything yesterday to dig into the matter more.

I've never dealt with this sort of thing before & mother is at a complete loss as to what to do other than try to get a hold of them (all attempts have been unsuccessful thus far). :c I could really use some guidance on this if anyone is up for trying to help. I can give an email of mine if whoever helps prefers to talk off-site. Just let me know.
