Morning Bears, we got home form vacation last night, I would have let ya'll know we were home then but got all that driving wiped us all out. The vacation was great, it was amazing to see my family again, and we came home with something new, a 2012 GMC SUV to be exact. My step Dad bought us a new car while we were home.

Huzzah for the new used car!

- So happy to hear that you had a great trip! Congratulations on the new vehicle as well! I definitely know what you mean about being wiped out from the traveling. We got back on Tuesday and everyone was wiped out when we finally got home. 6 hours of flying with a 4 AM wake-up! No one's idea of a good time.

Just wanted to ask y'all for prayers for my sister. She has a ton of health problems and had to go to the ER this morning so they could drain fluid off her body. They did it two weeks ago and took off 11 liters of fluid. It started filling back up the next day and now she is back in. I have to take care of my mom with Alzheimers so I couldn't go with her to the ER so our niece took her. Just got a call from niece and they are admitting her into the hospital. Keep in mind she has no insurance. She was just granted Disability which starts in August and had qualified for Medicare which was supposed to start in August but the rule is if you get Disability you have to wait two years for the Medicare to kick in. How stupid is that???? One of her meds cost over a $1000 dollars a month! Ok... won't rant about America's screwed up insurance/medical situation. Suffice to say it's very stressful for her on top of being gravely ill most of the time.

sorry to hear that about your sister do they know what is causing her to fill up with fluids...... yes I will have to agree with you about disability making you wait for 2 years until the insurance kicks in they do that just in case you can get off of disability before that but most people that are disabled stay disabled... what your sister could do is apply for assistance through the state for her medical needs

Hun I am so sorry to hear whats happening. I will be praying for your family for sure. I understand how hard it is as today I taking my hubby to specialist and they may put him in the hospital as he is really sick and lost so much weight it is scarry. I would like to ask for prayers also for my husband. Thank you all so much hugs

My mother was very ill from when I was born and mainly in hospital until she passed at 51 - can feel your pain - you will be in my prayers. Duane is correct is saying that you need to try your state for benefits - they should be able to step in. Am so sorry to hear that will keep your husband in my thoughts and prayers.
