I totally agree, it just put a wet blanket on the event.

I really love to crocheting, and I love the yarn. I got it from Egypt, and it was made in turkey. Get this here we got snow on the 26-27th, about 8 inches or more which isnt average snow for El Paso. Then when it started to melt it froze.

So are we going to get the trees open before New Year's? Maybe? Please?

And the data for who gave them those presents is 100% gone, so I'm sorry, but there won't be any fixing that. There is no way to recover it. But anything gifted on or before 12/20 will be given out as normal, showing who gave it.

All of this info and more will be posted in an official news post when we know more and have an ETA about when you can expect the trees to open. But like I said, there just haven't been any updates to give because everyone's been waiting on me to get back to a real computer.

As long as everyone gets their gifts from me, I'm not overly concerned that I remain anonymous. In fact, I kind of like it that way. I haven't really had time to keep track of my total gift's given, but it only seems to have dropped by somewhere between 15 to 20 million. So most of the folks I've gifted will know my Grinch act is BS.
(I still hate Christmas music though!)

Yep totally unexpected, and more of the same after the new year.

IDK where the Christmas thread went going to look for it to sneak a few more prezzies before the trees close.

Well my dear, hate to be a soggy reindeer [email protected] now all I keep getting are Error Events and and the ever lovely "blank white page".

And to add to the headache, I thought that only the few people that glitched and disappeared off my "Gifts Given List" would be affected. Now it looks like all the gifts I gave to my friends may go Anonymous (when the trees finally do reopen) since I shopped late between the 20th and 24th.

This is beginning to feel a lot like the "Happy Festivus" episode of Seinfeld...maybe we should all just throw a "Very Merry UnChristmas Party" like the Mad Hatter and call this Luminaire a write-off. Roll the whole mess back to the beginning of the month to give us back our sp, etc. and have a major gift giveaway at the Donation Center. Then if people want to gift their friends as well, they can shop during the January week of "Ukrainian Xmas" and simply use the Arctic Gift Center.

Right now we're looking at a very dead turkey slowly desiccating in the middle of the room...stick a fork in it and call it done. :)

I'm feeling a little grouchy. Two years ago tonight, my mom died. The site where I come to decompress and get away has been down all day, I have a cold so I missed my family get together for the new year and now I missed the last day for melody. Everyone, is all being like, you should be happy blah blah blah... And I'm trying to be. I'm usually a super positive person. It just really hit me wrong today. I just wanted to veg on the couch and play here and kabooom. It reminds me of when the site was young...grrr.

I guess I just needed to vent to my bears... mostly I just miss my mom. Happy New Years Bears. I love you.
