Plus spending the day doing, what I love crocheting. Now if I could just read a book at the same time, I would be set. LOL
Crocheting a couch blanket for older son and his wife. I did his wife, a scarf in different shades of pink, and she is a fan of pink. Taking it to her next week. Not finished with son;s blanket, I had to start all over, and I was half done.

Yeah, I tried the green tongues, but they didn't work well. Though I wouldn't be able to add a tongue, I'm at the maximum face items for the time being.

I don't think I've ever tagged the group before, but I have a prayer request and I hope that this is ok. I am going to spoiler the story as it disturbed me and those who have children or are sensitive may not want to read it, but just send positivity to the family and injured son of my brother's co-worker.

My brother's co-worker got a call at work yesterday morning (around 2:30AM) to let her know that her son had been involved in an accident and was being care-flighted to Dallas from our small town. He had been with his friends shooting off fireworks and lay down (conflicting reports as to why.) Another person leaving didn't see him and ran him over. I don't know a lot about his condition at the moment. It was reported that his ribs had been crushed, but they hadn't known the full extent of the internal damage the last time that my brother talked to the mother. My heart aches for all involved; the mother, the son and the individual driving.
So please hold this family in your prayers.
- Sending positive, healing thoughts to those involved in this accident. I hope the young man ends up alright in the long run.
So, when I logged on to Subeta this morning, there was a blue bar across the top, which in my non-coffee state, I assumed was the same as yesterday. I clicked the remove button without properly reading it. Anyone remember what it said?
That is just so sad, my heart goes out to the boy and his family. Thank you for posting this - will keep him in my prayers.
