I've contacted the other people who were helping run this board and none seem to be interested in continuing to update this thread. The Ziaran Tech Beads remind me of Black Panther. Maybe just a coincidence

- I don't think they are a direct reference, based on the hairstyle and the item descriptions, they don't actually seem to be related, possibly inspired by wakandian tech, but not a strong enough resemblance to be a reference.

I can't recall if the featured hairstyle was used in the movie, but the bracelet design itself is definitely Black Panther inspired. If you search up "Black Panther Kimoyo Beads" it comes up with something that looks very similar to the item image.

They might be featured more in the comics than the movie, but I think some of the characters were at least wearing them in the movie even if they weren't used much.

It's fun seeing all the references in items and stuff, but it's definitely a lot to keep track of. :(

- Yeah, the one from the Marvel shop does look awfully similar. And looking at some movie screen shots, the hair style is quite similar to Shu'ri's hairstyle in the last battle scene.

I'm pretty sure this item is a reference to the super long book Infinite Jest. I could be wrong though.

I'm pretty sure that is an Oknytt tribute.
