This may be a spoiler as it is a plot achievement prize
The new Ponderous Cane Topper (as well as the achievement's name) is a reference to the Riddler, from the Batman franchise.
- All the new collection items are subeta NPC references/tributes.
(Anyone else sad we didn't get a Wes Craven tribute yesterday?)
[item2=Black I-Want-To-Believe Tee]
This shirt is a reference to Fox Mulder from the X-Files
Edit: And of course the white shirt too! [item2=White I-Want-To-Believe Tee]
I think maybe the Das Boot item a few posts above might just go in your Misc category.
Updated my section with the shirts.

Perhaps the Das Boot is more of a meme or viral video?
Hey y'all, with the announcement of the RD prizes being put in the Antique Shop soon, I think there are still some book references that may have been missed.
For example, I'm thinkin' the might be a reference to Harriet the Spy. But I'm not certain (I only watched the Nickelodeon movie adaptation xD). Nvm, re-checked the list and found it's a Nancy Drew reference. My bad. xD
So if ya don't mind me asking, let's try to figure out what books some of these items reference! Some have already been identified and can be found in the book section on the original post, so double-check to make sure it hasn't been listed first!

Was reading a couple of the old threads, and I found a few things that were never added...
= Jurassic Park the book, although the all-caps makes me thing A Sound of Thunder by Ray Bradbury for some reason? Unfortunately I don't have any specific evidence other than it being from Reading Drive 2013, but here is why the all-caps reminded me of the Ray Bradbury story (in addition to JP), as that story features a company that specializes in taking people back in time to hunt T-Rexes. I didn't see this anywhere so my apologies if it was already there and I missed it.
is a direct reference to the Castlevania series (in general.) The style of the jacket directly references Ayami Kojima's art style, most closely correlating to Dracula's jacket shown here. The description references two tracktitles from Castlevania games also featured in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night; Crystal Teardrops and Bloody Tears. The description is also a double-entendre for the blood-red stone that originally made Dracula into a vampire. The rest of the Bloody Sunday line contains vague references, but I don't see any in the rest of the SN line!
is a Legacy of Kain/Soul Reaver reference. It's a reference to the Soul Reaver blade (here) and specifically to SPOILER (click to toggle)
the end of the final game
-- As an aside to the last, I'm not entirely convinced that the is a LoK reference vs just a generic Cthulhu mythos reference. I tracked down the original post (not sure how to link it) but the person who suggested it in the very first thread didn't give any reasoning why they thought it was one. (Sorry if this is the wrong place to air this concern)
It could be either, but I'm willing to lean more heavily towards A Sound of Thunder, since it is by the same author who wrote Fahrenheit 451. JP is often better known as the film series version over the novel anyways.
Very good find, I'll add it in. ^^

- is a reference to the Ricola commercials: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0uz_dehG2M8&list=PL_Ewr39FCtVP_QngYY3_GIqQojgjshtiT&index=2
That's what I was thinking as well, given that Fahrenheit had been an earlier RD item and JP items tend to reference the movie more directly. I actually thought of A Sound of Thunder (one of my fav stories) while writing to say it might be a JP reference and I was like, duh why didn't I think of this earlier!
No problem!
Wouldn't it technically go under the Infomercials category, the Ricola reference? :o
It sounds like one of the artists is also a fan of the short story too. ;D sorry couldn't pass it up

- I didn't know there was an infomercials category! That would probably be better for it.
I pretty much tied infomercials into the Internet/Viral videos category. Commercials are like viral videos. xD

And updated my section! Some of those are old item, good find :)
Edit: Does anyone know if the Discarded Produce Box is maybe a Metal Gear Solid reference? I've never played any of the games but I know you use a box to sneak around in.

Thanks! I was looking for reference items myself in the old thread, and happened upon some of those that weren't added or were missed in replies actually, heh. And then some of them I found myself.
I'd say the box definitely is even though I haven't played MGS myself, I've watched enough vids, seen enough Smash, and heard enough about it to say that it is.
Also, one thing: the that I was doubtful about is currently under Games, Soul Reaver/LoK. The series is definitely the "Legacy of Kain" series (Soul Reaver is styled "Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver") so at the very least it should be moved under the section you created for the sword... but again, the item doesn't seem to reference any specifics to Legacy of Kain so I think it should be moved under Books, either Call of Cthulhu or H.P. Lovecraft (series), since it seems to reference Cthulhu mythos more generally. There's a character in LoK who's based on Cthulhu mythos, but the item doesn't mention any specifics to him. I've read Call of Cthulhu but I can't remember if it was that story or another that had a tome, but I know it's a pretty common thing in Mythos stories regardless. Pinging if that's okay too since that's his section. Sorry I wasn't more specific last time!
