I understand. The only reason I hid the footer was because it was broken (it got so annoying I just gave up and hid it, though it refuses to vanish from my wardobe). Otherwise I wouldn't care for it to show.
I understand that it takes time, and that coding is a lot of trial and error sometimes (which is ironically why this upsets me so much, since I spent a lot of trial and error making my profiles!). But since this effects so many people, some of whom paid people for working profiles that they wouldn't have to edit, a better resolution than "oh, here's some code, go fix it yourself" needs to be found. As long as that resolution is in process, I am... well, let's just say, knowing you are working on a solution is keeping me from destroying anything in my home. lol Hopefully coming up with a fix for that line of code is all that is needed now!

Well now I'm just missing the complete bottom half of my layouts completely. 😔

Ironically the beginning of my pet's profiles are the parts that are messed up right now. xD Not so much the bottom. They look slightly different now for me, still messed up, but now there is a line breakage in the background, I guess? I'm not familiar with coding and graphic jargon. But hey... progress, I guess?

I am able to fix the alignment issues, but I have to say changes in coding is extremely frustrating. I understand the need to fix the codes for the main site, but is it possible to not let it affect pet profiles? I helped a few friends with their outdated coding, and they told me it took them at least an hour to change things on every pet profile. We are talking about people with 40+ pets.

Also, does anyone know how to make the unnecessary vertical scroll disappear for horizontal profiles? This code used to work for me: {height:200px!important;}, but it stopped working since yesterday. (edit this was fixed automatically after Keith's update, though you'll have to change to footer.)

I also noticed that for those who didn't define position, things on our profiles were shifted 10px to the left yesterday. I'd really appreciate it if small updates like this can stop popping up, or at least make them pop up at the same time? Please and thank you 😭!

For the record, I cannot literally express how mych I agree with this:

A minimum of once a month (sometimes a lot more) I have to go back through 25+ profiles to do various "tweeks" just to fix the aftermath of site updates. I understand updating coding is vital to the sites stability, and I completely understand that pet profiles are part of the site and need to be updated as well. However every single sute update effects every single pet profile.

1, I had to fix spoilers and drop five or so! Importants just to change the background color. 2. My table headers were all suddenly 10px longer, and shifted slightly to the left. 3. Some end div that'd been in my coding for YEARS suddenly tossed a wrench in my coding and the content table was 25px longer than before (leaving a huge white gap under my TC/second table). This took me WEEKS to figure out, since I hadn't changed anything before this started. 4. I think we all remember that special character problem, that no one was aware was the problem. That was fun. 5. Recently when the text/font updates killed the event functionality the size of the text on my pet profiles shrunk about 2 sizes, imagine my surprise when everything looked to be about 6.5px. 6. This footer game. 7. Pet hearts. Are effected by "a" and "i" text modifications (having a color in I will be the hearts color, but A also works! Unless you have an I color specified too which in case it will take that color) and changing the color directly to the coding that houses the heart option kills the ability to hover for a color change. But changing the hearts text decoration can kill the underline that pops up! However you can also do this via hover coding. I'm no progeammer, but.... wut???? 8. PHSNTOM BLACK LINES!! Two users using the same browser on different pcs viewing the same pet: one will see this short 1px black border running on the right hand side of content, and the other won't??

These are just the ones I remember, I'm sure there's been more though.

I think a potential idea might be for staff to automatically remove the sidebar/footer/header/images at the top/whatever caused the sitewide 10px shift/anything else that is updated from time to time. It might also be cool to like give pet profiles specific code things (like footer or content etc) that won't be touched/effected by other site code updates-- then tell people via news updates so everyone can fix it and know, and we'll hopefully never have issues pop up and stuff. That might be too complicated/easier said than done though.

All of my pet profiles have elements that have now shifted 10 px to the left. They also all now have a useless horizontal scrollbar (which I had already coded to remove, but seems to have reappeared with some blank space at the base of each profile).

Also Halfling is now missing the base of the background image, even though I've changed no coding on that profile :K

... although I have recoded a couple of pet profiles that are in the spotlight queue, I really don't want to have to do this for each of my profiles (I have 43 pets, around 40 of which have profiles), just to find that another bit of coding added to the main site in a day or two, will make them all misaligned again :(

I honestly feel like pet profiles should be immune to site changes. Like, you go to a user profile... there is no sidebar, no top menu, no footer, none of that crap. It is literally just user profile stuff. Why did you not create the pet profiles this way? Omg, with "Add ___ Widget". Replace ___ with: Minion, TC, Spotlight, etc.

The background on my pet is all messed up now. D: As someone who struggles to code this is just so .. falls over

I'm not sure if you've fixed the vertical scroll problem or not, but at some point in time I was having issues with white gaps caused by the unknown, and I ended up fixing it by adding this into my coding:

{background-color: transparent; border: 0px solid ; height: 200px !important;}

Might not help, but if you're still having the problem it could be worth a try!

Haha yeah xD I honestly thought this was already locked. But hopefully the problems get fixed soon T-T IT's a nightmare for people who doesn't code.

I'm afraid it does not work this time, but thanks so much for posting the code nevertheless ❤. I might use the temporary solution of adding "overflow:hidden" to "body" to hide the scrollbar, but it still scrolls in chrome. And I've read something about using fixed position for everything, but that's too big of a project for me at the moment :(. I guess I shall live with the scrollbar for now xD.

Oh that's much better! Looks like the only one I have to do any sort of fixing to is Triggers, but my other pet profiles are just fine now.

Since posted, I am posting now to say the 10px hasn't been fixed. At least not for any of my pets
