I'm really enjoying it! it's taking me quite awhile to read, not only because it's such a large book, but I've been so busy with school and whatnot. I've finally found some time this week to get a little bit farther along. I rather like it, though I'm cliche and have to say that The Prisoner of Azkaban is my fav so far.

You're probably reading it quicker than I did. I had to borrow my friend's copy at the time and ended up just putting it on hold for a few months before I got all the way through it.

I think Azkaban is probably the favorite amongst a lot of people, I think it's my favorite but it has been a while since I read the whole series so I would want to reread it and reform my opinion. I've been meaning to reread the series to get a fresh look at it but I have a long list of books I've been meaning to catch up on so it might be a while before I make it through again. Other than HP, what other books interest you?

I quite liked the Percy Jackson series, and of course the Hunger Games. being the hopeless romantic that I am, I do enjoy the occasional Nicolas Sparks book (The Notebook is a classic, I mean c'mon). The House of the Scorpion by Nancy Farmer is very good. to name a few random favorites of mine, Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell (honestly couldn't put this book down), Every Day by David Leviathan and Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher. what genres of books/books do you like?

I haven't read most of those, I have heard of some but I've never picked up a Sparks book. xD My favorite genre tends to be Fantasy and Sci-fi, but when I was younger I used to love Agatha Christie's murder mysteries. I've been rather lazy with reading lately, so I'm just making my way through Ender's Game right now. This is my second time going through this book and I haven't made up my mind yet. The first time I read it was for school and I hated almost all my required readings for school, I just never got pleasure from reading something that I'm forced to read in a certain period of time. But I think I am definitely enjoying it more now that I'm rereading it at my pace.

I've always loved reading. I started picking up books before I was in kindergarten and have been reading ever since. I do agree with you on the required reading thing, I usually never read the books assigned in class. actually, a couple I was required to read that I actually did read were "To Kill A Mockingbird" and "Fahrenheit 451", both of which I really enjoyed. but usually I hate having to read on a teacher's time, and all of the activities and drawn out analysis that goes along with it. by the time all of that's over, I'm so tired of seeing the book I never want to pick it up again.

Yeah, I mean sometimes we got to read books that are classics and actually really good reads, but just something about the required reading got to me and I would either skim or not read it and work off of spark notes. Granted I didn't end up doing so well in the classes where I did that, but I think there was an odd book here or there that I did enjoy reading even with assigned reading. I think I just never liked the fact that we would kind of all have to be able to read at the same pace and I'm a rather slow reader (on top of the fact that sometimes I never had the attention span or patience for it). So ultimately, I can see why they do it, I just wish it was thought out more thoroughly.

Anyway, it has been nice chatting but I am getting tired and going to sleep soon, so I'm going off soon.

Good morn' everyone. I hope all is well. I'm not in a great place in the world right now, work related and such, nothing new there. But on the bright side, a house cropped up that's a good possibility. First I've seen in months that just might be it.

Late is late but still, a happy birthday to <3

We just got back from the color run. My throat is sore now from all the screaming...and the fact that you kinda get all this colored corn starch up your nose and in your mouth probably doesn't help either...but it was a blast!

I just saw that you mentioned Nicholas Sparks. He is the only romance author I read. I love his books, even though they are all pretty much the same plot (roughly). I got to meet me at an author tour he did for his books Three Weeks with my Brother (which they wrote together), so I got to meet his brother too. Of course...I was all star stuck...

hello, dear! squeals I love him so much but I guess you already know that, aha. I'm always prepared to be degraded whenever I mention that I read Sparks because so many people dislike his work. I will admit that his books are roughly similar, but he is still a great author. that's really cool that you got to meet them, though! I would've been starstruck, as well c:

He is a very down to earth, nice guy. I had wanted to meet him for so long, so I was thrilled that he actually came to a place somewhat near me. My dad took me, because mum was away. Sure his stuff is predictable, and sappy...but hey, at least one can pretend that they are with one of those 'perfect' guys...

One time when I was in a pub with my best friend, Learning to Fly came on and in my drunk buzzed state I gasped and said "I love Tom Petty more than should be legal." It is true, and now my thing. Too awesome!

Oh wow, you and have me beat! That is so sweet, though!
