Yeah, he's surprisingly very easy for an EH opponent. He didn't get tougher with each win like I was expecting. xD

My tier 7 Brug got him down to around half health but that was using a regenerating pylonic and freezing him two turns in a row. If you can chain freeze for like 4 turns you may be able to get him? Or if you manage it without that strat please share cause I'd love to get at least one win!

YAY! There was a close call there but thankfully I froze and held on with like 10hp...

I've only done 1 battle against him and my T8 got a win using: specs, Soma, RB, RoE, Frost Thorn, Prodigy Staff, RotL, and acorn bomb. I think any freezer and healer will do and you don't need the bomb. That was just for fun 'cause I like to s'plode things. lol I will be switching the bomb out for PQ for my next attempts.

I used shards to block damage and the glacial and healing pylonics. The scrolls she had equipped were mostly freezing / healing. Like you said, you try to freeze as much as possible, but I also blasted twice and early -- and that really helped minimize the damage taken.

I may try again later but at high-ish tier 7 I dont know if Brug will be able to get a win or not. I may grab some shards in there and see if it helps just a little more.

FM isn't a high T8 -- she's mid-range. I will be using most of the same weapons and strategy w/my 7s when I get around to them -- although it might not be until tomorrow. I'm already really tired and we haven't had the first phase of the boss yet, so I may grab a quick nap.

My point is that I think you can do it with the freezing/blasting strategy and loaded with potions/pylonics/shards and anything else you can throw at him. Make sure your weapons are modded too -- that will give you a little something extra to boot!
