Yeah I did! I think Skull staff in defensive mode really made him easier, covers more of his spread and offers a bit more healing. my first win or two I didn't see what the big deal was with him other than his hp. the next couple wins proved to be a bit harder. but I'm still like 2.5-3k stats away from the old cap, so I am getting to 5 before I remember a lot of other people who were capped did.

Yeah I just essentially do the mindless dailies and then just chat for the rest of the time. I dont know if that is harsh though? If it's simple tasks like these even someone who can come on briefly can get them done. And if they were more complex tasks this wouldn't feel so eh. Honestly I think plots are kind of like a reward for being around and active so if people arent here then missing out on the cool stuff is a reasonable consequence :c

You're probably spot on about them spreading thin material otherwise I dont know why such a long wait is necessary between extremely easy steps.

I've resorted to going in to do grad school lab work before my start date because I have nothing to do and dont even worry about the plot progressing while I work.

I didn't think it was either but I don't want to come across rude to anyone that applies to who reads that post. I beat Mr Digger on my first try then proceeded to do the (probably optional) achievements the next day. this game is also staying around. it really doesn't take that long to continue? battling steps I could understand, not everyone knows how to battle. I agree sorta with you though.

which is what will most likely happen to all future plots. one challenger maybe that is required that has like 1 hp, rest optional, and who knows if we'll get a global boss :(

Kinda how they did the last plot. One very easy challenger than a bunch of others for anyone to continue to beat up on. Which was awesome.

I haven't bothered even re-getting my wins against the Castle yet because I'm kinda bored with the part of battling that requires no effort, but when I first got my wins, I remember it was quite tedious and took me tens of losses to max him out. Although the wins past 5 might have been the real tough ones. I don't really remember, it's been two years since it was released.

The extra stats since cap raise are definitly helping a lot more than I thought they would.

Maybe there's just better weapons that are attainable now. I don't have one of these Skull Staff things, IDK when it was released but I wasn't around for it.

Skull staff was released as a boss battle prize during the 2014 Morostide plot.

Yeah I just dont see it being too offensive if it applies to them because it'd be a similar situation to someone who wasnt on the site yet for a certain event. As far as the game goes I have good memory so beating the game and using as much dynamite as possible meant getting the plushies and enough ghosts for the background (I am eh about the title but maybe I'll try for that too now since I have time). Yeah battling steps I could see being a good reason for slower pacing but this is just dragging it's feet. Makes me nostalgic for the councilor's cruise.

Morostide last year makes sense. I had lots of offline work going on at that time which is probably why I never saw that boss.

Never once dropped under 9500 HP. It's pretty ridiculous how strong pets can get now. Unless you get a guy like Roids RB that will hit 12K through a void, it's pretty much invincible.

Double critical hits are nice little surprises. I have a critical strike on every constant now, because w/e it's fun

there's one map layout of the game I cannot beat for some reason lol. it's annoying. but I got my 250 ghosts.

congrats on the wins :O skull staff is 50 earth/dark defense, 12% heal in defensive mode. I think it's better than focusing on just earth with ohs but probably worse than ostaff.

yeah that's my guess anyway, unless the people complaining just made it so battling is 100% optional this time.
