I believe everything in pharm is pretty crappy now, it used to be a great shop when I started.

I rage quit neopests (haha typo, but I'm gonna leave it) after they turned all my pets into cutsey little freaks so that you could put clothes on them. Seriously, my zafara gave me nightmares the day after the massive all pet revamp. Haven't been back since, except for the rare time for nostalgia. I never restocked or anything, but I did follow those 100k a day guides, the ones that took you to all the sponsor sites and you clicked toucan sam for 1000np 5x daily. Once I discovered those, the site lost most of it's appeal anyway.

I'm surprised that there was no major event or plot or anything that happened this past weekend, stuff like that seems to always happens when I go away and have no internet for a few days. And for once, I am actually a little bit sad about that :( It's been pretty routine here for quite a while. I dropped two ranks. Probably need to buy some boosters to get that back. Shinwas been a jerk lately.

Read my plea to the BAs a page or two back. That's why we got into discussing neo I guess. I think at this time we're waiting until august for a new monthly theme to start any sort of event. Though the longer it goes on without one, the more discouraged I get. Really hope it does have battling. Oh what rank are you? Ranks must be pretty tight around you :p

Yeah accounts get hacked a lot there, their security sucks really. But it seems every time I saw someone lend their friend something really nice, their friend "got hacked" with the item. I'm too cynical to believe in such a coincidence.

Yeah, I don't know the reason for that, it's not like I've read a ton of books just recently... or maybe I have? LOL.

My neo account got hacked once, I managed to get it back, but all my np was gone. I didn't have much at the time though, maybe about 100k, that was before I knew about all the freebie ways to make a ton of np quickly without any effort. I battled, but my pet only had like 50 in each stat and my only weapon was the scarab ring.

Oh, I remember neopets! I played games like crazy and saved up NP for a year or so, then bought that faerie doll for the avatar/achievement. Once I had it, it was kinda useless to me, so I let my friends borrow it to get the achievement as well. In the end I was sending it to everyone who asked, so it was bound to go wrong at some point :P I sent it to someone and their account got frozen. I still don't know if that was a self-freeze to cover up the theft or not. I even made a NP earning guide for the games myself. I'd record how many seconds I'd require to play the game and how many NP that would give me, to calculate which games had the highest NP per minute gain. Then I got hacked and lost everything. I was like - ok, I'll start over. But then neopets caught up to the hacking of my account and froze it, wtf? They were like 24h late... I sent an e-mail to support to get my account back, then they accused me of cheating, because they thought I entered my password on some site that promised free stuff. They grudgingly gave me back my account, and then I stopped playing. I'm not going to stay in a place where customer support calls me a cheater instead of trying to help me. At the same time my subeta account got hacked too. They must have gotten into my e-mail somehow, since both for subeta and neopets there was a mail requesting the password to be sent. In subeta though, I got my account back and all lost items / currencies were returned even before the neopets customer support ever replied to me. At least that taught me to not use the same password everywhere. My e-mail account had the same password as all the random forums I ever signed up for. Probably some hacker had gotten into one of those and just tried the same password on my e-mail account.

But enough of that, back to subeta! If I keep doing my BQs every day, I'll have enough exp to reach tier 13 by the end of the year. I didn't know I was so close to the old cap :O

I'm still friends with the guy I loaned stuff to a long time ago, so I'm not worried about that at all, plus he was a billionaire, and I only loaned him like 70mil

Probably never really talked to you over there, don't really remember that name. I was an IDB rater like Purge and Cranberry, and was part of several guilds (Mostly guilds made up of similar groups of people that disbanded and reformed when people would refuse to war us anymore) the last one being RAWR, and if I remember correctly we used to compete with STARZ, I don't think I was ever actually a part of STARZ though. I think STARZ was at it's peak shortly after I started coming back from a longer hiatus (my neo account is probably 15 years old at this point if it never got cleared).

I am kinda guessing here that maybe this weekend we will finally see something get done via a plot or event. Friday might be best but that tends to be a cram day for the themes end, yet they could sneak a start of something in there. Saturday might work as well. New month, new theme, new event?

Pretty sure Amber said that there isn't a battle theme planned any time soon.

Welp that is level 20 BQ done. Slavam conquered yesterday, Hustler twice today, and now Recycle Beast.

I've made some progress on restocking spell ingredients but it's been slow going on some of them. On the upside I do have aftershocks now because I have a ton of wardrobe items that I did not need and were worth a lot. Still planning on making my own TF though because that 10% over 7% might be really preferred in future.

Also a plot that has a battle element would be gr8

I rarely talked on battle chat over there. I played a lot of plushie tycoon and I talked on the PT chat most of the time I wasn't chatting in my guild. I remember competing with RAWR! There were a couple other big battle guilds back then but I can't think of the names now. Taniake(sp?) created STARZ and I was council with Tymbaa(Wes), 1draik(Becci), and bigbadshark(Chris) if I remember those names correctly. You might have known some of them, especially Wes since he came over here. My account would probably be about 13 years old now. I remember doing a bunch of kitchen quests and negging as much as possible. I also spent hours refreshing the shop search, looking for bargains on codestones :P

Ya I knew all 4 of them to varying degrees. Tymbaa and 1draik both joined RAWR if I remember correctly. I remember Taniake from the BD chat, and bigbadshark was in one of the other big guilds that one of my good friends was on the council for.

I was pretty bad at making np. I was always just a little bit short of buying a very underpriced item (I had 85mil when I needed 95mil to buy an AAS, that within 6 months was selling for 300mil, ect), but I was very good at the analysis of it, and helped make a lot of other people very very rich, mostly through reselling of cove items like Metal Wand and Attack Meatball. Most people thought that 100 of each cove item were released, but some of them were in much shorter supplies. So I went through years of news posts and made a list of all of the limited release cove items that there were less than 40 of on the site, and we targeted a lot of those items, and then started pointing out how rare they were in reality.

Now that I think about it, purge might have been the one selling that AAS :p

aw man, neo. that was my jam for so, so long, but it was never the same after they froze my original account. i tried to rebuild but i could just never get invested the same way as i was before. so i started cheating at flash games for shits and giggles, but even that got boring after a while. so i just... left. been maining subeta ever since.

and now it kind of seems like the site's in the toilet so i doubt i'll be going back.

Ah Neopets. I was there too. It's been at least seven years since I was last active there. My UN was Tomoko. I was in an avatar guild there. But once they started dressing up the pets, I lost interest and started coming here.
