Yeah that is correct!
Perilous Whirlpool is once per battle. It will disappear but it's not gone for good. Will show up in your next battle,

Those sound really useful...and worth the cost!
I went and checked to make sure lol
Eventually you will outgrow the divine denizhen and terra focujin will be more useful because of the higher heal, but for where you're at now, they'll be great scrolls

congrats on that health! very nice!!
congrats on your new scrolls. Hopefully you can get further now in your BQ's. you have come a long way in such a short period of time. that is awesome!
So I've not really chatted here before (just lurked) but I spend a considerable amount of time battling and Brugmansia is finally sitting pretty at tier 7 so I feel like it might be the time.
I gotta figure out what to do about a new healing scroll because I might be outgrowing soothing current's lack of either damage or defense.
There aren't any cheap options to go for if you want a healer with attack or a considerable amout of defense, your only real option is terra focujin with more heal until you want to spend a lot on something like aftershocks scroll
Do you think terra focujin would be a more worthwhile tideover scroll than say holy deluge until I can get my hands on an aftershocks scroll? Or better to just hang in there with soothing currents and put the 8.847 mill (in the case of holy deluge) or 12.983 mill (in the case of terra focujin) into buying an aftershocks?
Holy deluge is ap expensive for what it does if I recall correctly, and it's not a huge amount better. It may just be a good idea to go for the aftershocks instead with no step between, which has less overall healing but does sport a lot more offense and defense. That way like you said you do save that sP :p
Holy deluge is a 20 AP so it is pretty heavy but so far I rely so heavily on using my healing scroll each round that the opponent isn't frozen that I use so little of my 46 AP on any other scrolls. Healing situation is a bit better now that I got a reborn icewand of doom and added the minotaur knocker (which may be replaced with arrow harpoon) back into my set. But yeah I may just save the sp considering both of those gap-bridging scrolls are around 25% the cost of aftershocks.
They're both cheap if you restock the ingredients to make them xD but yeah, saving your sP is probably the best idea
Congrats on 7k health. Welcome ti the battle chat board.

True enough and some of those are very feasible to restock over a couple of days. I think the 3 sands of time and 8 river muds would probably take the most time to restock.
Thank you very much! I see that I'm in good company c:
Also congratulations on 7000 health! Quite a big achievement
If you get lucky you can get a couple of muds in a few days, but they do take awhile to get. Sands aren't too bad to get really. I have a ton in my vault that don't get any use lol
Welcome to the BC chat!
I would go with Terra Focujin as a healer. It does take up less AP usage which leaves room for more scrolls like Cobalts and Perilous Whirlpools and other once per battle scrools. Good luck deciding!

thank you! it's a satisfying achievement, i must admit.
but for the discussion at hand, i very much agree with restocking and making your own TF scroll. personally, i'm at tier 12 and i still have holy deluge in my default scroll set for kolja, so i wouldn't necessarily call them gap-bridging scrolls (though TF would probably be more appropriate for you if you're looking to conserve AP). there are some points in a fight where that extra 3% heal can make a lot of difference, but that's probably further down the line for you, when your total HP really starts to stack up.
Seems the votes are in so I think I'll pick up a healthy habit of restocking at Spells Galore to make my own TF so I save a large amount of money that will then go into getting an aftershocks scroll. Sticking with TF over HD I think will be good for me so that I can get some good non healing spells to use what is leftover of the 46 AP on.
If you're fighting an opponent that does icons that aftershocks blocks, I feel that it'll win out over terra focujin in high tier battles. Holy deluge has a small niche useage against forj since it heals and does some water icons. But if you can restock the ingredients, terra will use worth it
