Apart from the fact that a cap raise (without down sides) was the deal from start up.
But we most certainly did not want yet another downgrade, that sets us back for a year or the like. We wanted our pets et all to be at the same stage they were 2 days ago and climb forth from there on!
We have been through that one time too many!
I get that everyone is upset about the whole weapons thing...personally I don't care one way or another. They felt these changes needed to be made. So they made them. Now we just have to accept these changes and move on.
I do get the upset, but it is done, so deal with it and move on. They were not going to make everyone happy, there are always those that are going to get pissy about changes. It happened, it is done...so all we can do is deal with it and move on.
I am looking forward to what else they have in store for us. It will be interesting to see where we can go from here.

Apparently what I posted about Dark Rex and low healing was an exception because it's slightly over 10k hp. I only found this out when there was some discrepancies between just only 1 poster buried in the other thread.
Huh, 10k health is well below where I was aiming for. Means my build would end up like... 10k/13k/6k/6k hah. That's pretty low for health.

Granted I had a pretty high speed already so the speed bit doesn't effect me all that much (especially compared to others), and that all I really really wanted was to be able to train my main pet again (because I really love training? I've kept logs of monthly gains and everything lol)... I still have three issues with this cap raise:
EXP is excessively high. I get we're not supposed to cap overnight (despite being able to @ boosters, but I digress) but I feel like double would have sufficed. Yeah yeah could be worse, but if it was much more there's be no point in BQing at all which is really the site shooting itself in the foot @ GAs when you consider most of the people who have them, have them for either autopricing or BQs.
At first I was like YAY that the exp from the first 10 wins got higher instead of lower! However, the fact that they just reversed it ... screws the little guys more than the big guys so I don't know why it was done like this??? Like, okay cool Craig can still get 10 wins on something to net the exact same amount of exp as before (should have started at either the original 1st win amount, or a bit lower and resulted in more exp).. but if someone could only get 5 wins... congrats! Less exp for you :'D That kinda sucks. I don't feel like this is going to change, because people have already started winning loot/gaining exp so if it was changed wins wouldn't be reset and people would complain. Still though, not a fan of this... made a really OMG YAY change into ... well, a waste of effort since at the end of the day we've still gained the exact same amount of exp.
What exactly were we waiting for that was so holy shit you gais are gonna be like WHOAA OMG WUT? Because, I'm kinda just sitting here happy I can train my pet again but overly not seeing anything else worthy of being excited about? Not to mention anything that was super important to the cap being raised that seemed like it'd take 2 months to get coded? Unless of course the programmers are that swamped for tiny edits (wouldn't be surprised if that were the case, but just sayin')... but if that's the case why the hype over... a speed change that 90% of battlers wouldn't be excited about, an exp change that 0% of capped pet battlers would be excited about.. or a backwards exp system that was amazing until it was realized it was just reversed.
While I'm glad the cap was raised and I can train my pet again and get more loot and not be afraid of the speed tomes bring... I don't really feel like we've seen anything hype worthy? Are we.. still waiting for it? I hope? Hopefully we are and when it's released we start drooling rainbows and flipping out and everything will be right in the world once again?
if your pet has over 9999 health, it heals 100hp using a godly weapon. (cronus is the only one statted so far, supposedly others are to follow)
that's... ok that actually leads into another question i've been sitting on. is this weapons nerfing only going to be affecting tier 11 god weapons (MW aside)? because over here i've got a number of tier 8, 9 and 10 percentage healers that maybe don't block 100 of a particular icon, but they're still pretty sturdy blockers. and they heal by percentages. are those getting nerfed? because if not, then i guess i'm failing to see how a swashbuckle is supposed to be more appealing than a blessed trident.
Purge mentioned it is for t9 and above and he said that Cronus is the prototypical weapon so most will follow it.
He used a lot of "most" and "likely" so who actually knows. MW is at 9% now, compared to 7% yesterday regardless of speed.
Maybe ill be winning battles using weapons t9 and below, (RIWoD or Bluud Wand for dat 30% heal combo)
yeah, theres a health cap, spd "cap", only freedom in str and def. so the choice becomes obvious. A lot of people are unhappy so i feel this might not stick.
i feel that people have to be warned lol. so many capped are in the 7-8k health range already.

I guess you haven't been through or felt any of the often devastating changes "for the sake of a better BC" over the years that set us back over and over again, from which we always had to move on.
Since your pet is not t13 or close, I also suppose, you were not robbed of your XP (I would assume you consumed your excess XP before they were set to 0)
Since you're not t13 your stats don't cost 3 times as much.
Since you're not t13 you are now no longer affected by the health cut on your weapons (which I voted for).
No wonder you don't care...
I was going to post these suggestions about speed affecting healing weapons before being sidetracked by the max hp issue in the cap raise thread.
Break it into 500 speed stats per bracket instead of 1000 Progress takes effect sooner.
Shift the weapons starting speed down The popular entry T12 even pet build with 3k speed get an underwhelming 100hp heal and 20 extra def icons. Why does it have to be nerfed? Edit: It's actually 350hp because I tested on a pet with 10k+ hp. But 350hp heal + 274hp max def still falls short of the original 750hp heal
2a. Start increasing heal at 0 speed
2b. Start increasing defense at 3-4k speed

I am close to the 22K cap not there yet...just over 3K away Once I am tier 13 my stats will cost the same as you...why do you want to be at the new cap so soon for? really, why?? They did that so that you can't reach the new cap in like a week. Maybe work a little bit for it.
don't get a fucking attitude with me, I am not getting one with you, until now. I don't see this as the end of the fucking world. so you need to make some changes and WORK at it. Change happens....deal!
People are angry because they spent a lot of time and effort crafting their builds the way they thought was best - for people with severely under speed or over-healthed (lol what is english), they are getting shafted now because they don't have the benefit of foresight like users such as yourself coming up to the old cap fresh :). It's a shame to see people's hard work being negatively rewarded, that's all!
