Slowly getting there. I'm still letting Bond have the first 15 BQs but Dameon gets much more during the last 15 so really things still balance out. I think once I hat 1mil I'll take a short break, go back to letting Lhyven and Lord Miasma have some days of BQs then pick back up on my EXP hoarding goals with Dameon and finish off our 1.5mil final goal before we spend. I don't think we need battling to be even more expensive and difficult. It already has that stigma, and any changes to further this will just prevent more people from considering battling as something they would want to do daily.

I actually got powdered muscles from AA today. I was shocked that I got a booster from there.

but potions have always just been an extra that most people never use anyhow, except when absolutely needed. They only difference now is that there aren't tens of thousands of them being spit out every month from mystery box lol. It makes sense for them to have a small bit of value as the extra bonus they are. 25k seems perfectly reasonable middle ground to me.

Same point as above, new battlers use these things to get wins when they otherwise couldn't. Instead of needing to spend 10m on a better weapon, they spend 200k on weapons and 50k on a few potions and they're good. I don't see why we need things to be more expensive and even harder for newer battlers. 25k is not a lot for you, but a t2 battler who sees single use things for 25k may just get completely dissuaded from battling It would be better to take apothecary from the mystery box. That thing is pointless anyway

I think most people who battle DO use them. Higher tier pets hardly ever need them -- nor do our smaller pets since we have better (if not the best) weapons and we have a pretty good idea of when each pet can take on each foe.

Newer/lower tier battlers are much less likely to have the weapons -- and since they don't have the experience, it's much harder for them to gauge when they should be attempting each new foe. That's where potions and pylonics are so helpful. If you can pull off a win with a little extra help, then it may be time to bite the bullet and buy that weapon you've been saving up for.

but I seriously doubt that new battlers ever consider using them. it's usually just high tier battlers trying to get an early win on a harder challenger or get that nice win 5 loot. I certainly would never recommend a lower tiered battler to use one use things like that, they'd be better of saving up to auto train while they sleep, it'd be far more beneficial long term and just a few hours worth of stats can make the difference. I've always been a strong supporter of things that attract new battlers, and equally critical of things I thought might do opposite. This, I think, certainly isn't one of those things.

Not an option during event battles where time is so limited. How many times have you even seen the dark waters referred to again Mama F? And she's not a one time only or annual opponent.

btw, do we even have annual opponents anymore? Still missing last years Morositde foes and the Gellies…

Just as well. I probably couldn't get the wins I need for the weapons since there aren't any potions let alone glaciating pylonics. Wouldn't be such a big deal if I had decent freezing scrolls…

Lots of lower tier people use them. A lot of the pylonics that aren't useful at high tiers are pretty strong at lower tiers. Making them more expensive doesn't benefit anyone except the restockers who will sell them to people doing maleria's quests.

against mam forj, yes, who costs 750 csc, and then you have to beat both other stages 70 times each, so it's something only experienced battlers are going to be doing. and dark potions and pylonics are still available in massive quantities, they're just a more reasonable price now, at ~25k.

What about special/annual events where time is limited & you really need that weapon/scroll/whatever? AA supplies can make/break any battler, but the lower tiers feel it even more sharply and are less likely to have the funds to buy supplies at current prices.

I would compare it to something like the optional weapon making thing in the fight against Kiyo. It's expensive and it really highlights what a better alternative putting effort into your pet is. I think it's more encouraging than discouraging, unless someone is dead set against training their pet and actually investing a bit in battling, in which case they're not being involved in battling anyhow.

I train my pets -- have ever since I joined. I do Shin & Qs quests, etc. I boost. I do the occasional robbery/break-in to support the training, and hold up banks for the weapons buying. I still need to save almost 2 billion to buy the "basic" MC weapons and I just don't have the funds to be buying potions at over 20K a pop. I just don't see how a newer battler can swing it at all.

I really can't afford to battle as it is. At this rate it's cheaper to collect CWs. I find the never-ending spiraling out of control constant costs to be very discouraging. I have enough problems with too little money in RL, I don't need it here too.
