I wasn't able to actually outspeed the castle, though I at least did get to a point where crits were nearly even between us. I feel like the way cronus helped was not only that it boosted stats, but also helped me rake up larger amounts of damage before the castle could boost enough stats to the point where I would need to go use PoBow+OHS to avoid the risk of a near one-hit kill that would otherwise happen if I were to go undefended. I don't have Shinwas lightning though, although I can see how it would help (not to mention that I always did wonder what it was like for your pet to have that high of health and lesser of other stats).

Remember me telling you I got in my 5 wins against Baenwurath without even having the Ostaff in my set when I was using Sizzlin, but I put it in my set when I did them with Peshy and to be honest, I had a harder time with my 2nd pet. Trust me when I say...I battle by the seat of my pants. I am a lot of trail and error, but it sure seemed easier (and by no means is it easy) to get a win without using the Ostaff.

I am not sure if you have one or not, but if not your welcome to try mine against him and see what you think.

Strange. There is a lot to it when it comes to securing a win on Baenwurath, though I just feel O-Staff would be one of the most effective weapons for securing a win. Peshy's stats do look like they are not too far off from UltimateFriend's, though I feel what would especially help would be replacing PoBow with Natasha. I do thank you for the offer, though I don't have much time to battle today.

I agree, I'd love to see some new CS Challengers, possibly when they release that new rewards card. Granted I never finished the last one just can't spend that much real money on the site in a short sitting... But if they DO release more I'd gladly get the funds for them.

Now I should go do my BQs...

I do not have a Natasha, not sure I need to get one with having the KUFoD, but if you would to try that instead of the Natasha you can.

29k EXP for Dameon today... Prodigy actually went down in the first battle and we had nearly full health. Very rarely are we so lucky.

K-Wand always was interesting to me, so that would be neat to try out. I think Natasha would work better due to its icon types though (I've been saving up for that thing and am over 70% of the way there). It will have to be a different day though (I am mostly interested in K-Wand just to see it in action).

Opps a day late and a buck short for the cap convo but I'm still not seeing it's holy grailness?

I agree it served its' purpose originally, and a ton of pets have caught up to the cap and requiring weapons that're extremely limited and doubtfully will go on sale at any point (not now, since the requirement for gods to beat things is more important than it ever has been) and it's time for it to be upped. I'm not crying for a phantom cap, I'm crying for this cap to be upped. The capped up, or the useless stat that is speed be culled and turned into exp to put on something more important.

1. I remember when the cap happened and weapons were going to be redone we were told that gods wouldn't be required to beat anything-- they'd just be overkill. Yet here we are, already needing them. No, not overkilling with them, quite literally needing them to beat things. Not everyone should have gods, as they should be overkilling and having 500 capped pets slaughtering everything isn't going to keep people engauged enough to care-- but having a cap with a ton of pets gathering dust because the 20 people with gods won't sell them (and why should they? They need them too) isn't really motivating to anyone.

I'm sure making new challengers to fit a cap is so much fun :'D! KNowing that only 20 people can probably beat it, most won't try, and a handful of people will try.. get pissed and go back to collecting clothes or plushies or pets. Man, I bet that's rewarding. Grass ain't greener on the other side of that fence, either... I literally did my 30 BQs every-single-loving-day for two+ years... now? Pft, why? So I can cap another pet that can't beat anything because I don't have the rights gods?

That's HORRIBLE.

2. I get other games might cap characters, but this is subeta? Not WoW. These are "pets" not elves and trolls. Not to mention, in those games you can grind your little heart out and go from newb to capped in a week if you have the time.

Here, just in case you didn't know, it takes literally years and years and years to cap a pet, with tons and tons of dedication and $$$$$ for boosters. If you take the long road via training center/BQing you're probably looking at 6 years.

Years and years... verses weeks. That's why the cap here on subeta, really isn't that great. Who has the time and money to deal with that more than once? Yeah I have like seven or some odd tier 11 pets but I started training them all about 4 years ago.

3. I can understand not wanting to raise the bar, release new guys, and then see the same handful of people re-max and slaughter it in a week. I really do, but that's a problem now, too, is it not? You can't make anything harder because most people can't even beat what we have because it's so so so dependent on weapons that can't be released in mass because they kill the system (because again, like I said on tumblr, the problem is the weapons not the pet stats).

I think a better idea, in that regard-- is raise the cap to x, and then state it in big bold red angry letters that once your pet is capped it WILL NOT be able to accumulate exp any longer. So that way, the next time the cap is raised again-- every capped pet will be on the same page and it'll take people $ or time to get to the next one.

I wouldn't be against new tiers, either. I like tiers, they're helpful and a fun milestone. The cap I understand to a degree but I didn't like it when Craig had 2k stats and now that he's been capped a year and some change I hate it more than ever. Sitting there twiddling my thumbs while waiting for half the battle community to catch up just to sit in my boat with me going "well shit I still can't do anything... here I thought Andrea was lying out her ass about how she's been capped and still can't beat anything because herrderr godlies! Who'da thought she was being serious."

Either it needs to be raised, speed needs to be culled, or a formal news announcement needs to be made that the cap is staying where it is-- so I can sell these dustcollecting weapons and scrolls to unsuspecting un-capped battlers and spend my fortune on something I can actually enjoy :T
