XD I just made a post so long on the BQ revamp feedback thread, that I literally had to edit it down in MSWord to get it under 6k characters.

Ok, so basically I have like, all day to beat him, as long as I go back to the battle quest page in between losses? That's kind of nice. Miss the sP earned from BQs to offset all that healing though OTL

Anyone know how to beat Crawbeast? I didn't see it in MrC's archive. Or did I miss it?

It's my last quest. I hate to think that I battled that asshole rabbit 4 times for nothing. I can block water, but I can't chain freeze him forever. Anything he's super weak to?

EDIT: I am incredibly annoyed that I spent 2 hours battling for NOTHING! No wonder people are quitting BQs. There is no sense even trying a level unless you know you can beat it easily.

Actually, I wasn't able to beat Crawbeast at all when he first came out (and I didn't start the blog until November 2013). I am working on examining his information. Hopefully next time I get him, I will beat him with a real strategy and not spam god weapons until he's dead. I am especially wondering how well frostbite amulet and paintbrush blades could fit in.

Headbutt: 10 or 15 physical, 10 dark, 15 or 20 earth, 10 or 15 water

Lunge: 5 fire, 5 dark, 5 ice, 5 light, 15 or 20 water Blocks all physical/dark/earth/ice

Quickstrike: 3 fire, 25 dark, 3 earth, 3 ice, 3 light, 3 magma, 5 or 10 wind Blocks 4 physical/dark/earth/ice/water/wind

Death Roll: 3 physical, 3 fire, 3 dark, 3 earth, 13 ice, 3 light, 3 magma, 13 water, 3 wind Heals 7%

Stomp: 10 or 15 physical, 10 dark, 10 or 20 water

Well I'm at 45/100 for the Mecha now. Getting all those tokens just made me so happy. It gave me a small boost towards my goal but I'm thankful for it. :D

Hey congrats on your second Prodigy win! Yeah sadly if you lose you have to go all the way back to the BQ page to fight them again with their original base stats.

Got two amulets from Quentin and found one on the ground, two turned into tomes! woohoo!

Frostbite Am doesn't have a % heal, does it? You'd be using that just for the water block? I've been using Pirate cutlass to block water and gelly to block dark, but I can't keep enough of a heal up -- I only have 10% max from scrolls. Having trouble blocking with other weapons because he can deal so many of one type at once. Will try w/CTS and PBB instead of gelly…

btw: Stomp hit me for 30 water (along w/the 10 dark, and 15 physical)

EDIT: Death Roll does 13 of dark -- not 3.

Frostbite amulet doesn't heal. However, I do feel it could work. If I see him again, I'll see how much good frostbite amulet and paintbrush blades do together. I will add in those edits when I get home. Truth be told, I'm glad they actually plan on letting EXP for individual wins count.

For me CTS was better than PBB when I tried them both, but it's not like I got a win. CTS blocked a bit more damage -- and he hits HARD -- so that was worth more than the little extra heal from PBB for me. I think either would work well for a pet who is higher than KT -- like if someone was a T12 or something. I just couldn't block enough dark and water and keep enough of a heal up. Even if you do get the dark/water issues solved, he can still be mean w/earth, ice, etc… Blasting didn't help. I don't think I ever saw him use empty pillbox or recycled wad. Too many copies of each weapon? And I also tried using shards, potions, etc… which bought me time, but not enough to swing a battle -- so I think I'm just not strong enough.

G-Ring blocks 75 ice, 75 wind. Has 2nd move that blocks those two and a 75 water. No heal, 1st move has a bad freeze rate but 2nd move guarantees 100% freeze. Try that as well?
