Not knowing what to expect, and being lazy, I used KT for every battle (10 so far) and…

Detharmonic got the 1500 from the first 5 even though he never battled. He hasn't battled in months.

No exp was awarded after 10, despite this:

You can still get tokens from winning during the battle quests, at least.. but otherwise I'm really unimpressed with how shitty the xp is now.

Too bad the experience doesn't seem to be awarding...

That is what I had before I started. And I have done up to level 16 so far. (Not to mention there was nothing listed as my reward for level 15 being finished)

Love the random chance at old BQ opponents but overall I'm not sure that I'm a fan of the format.

I have to get through the first 10 quests before even reaching battles that last more than one round, which is going to get boring fast. I actually liked the random mix. Some days you scored big and other days it was all Buttwings and Vultys. Plus, you usually had one or two tough ones in a row and then a bit of a breather. Variety is good.

I can see the appeal of a gauntlet style BQ...just not as a daily thing. Plus, with rewards only every 5 battles, it's kinda...meh. What about tokens and other prizes? (Part of the fun of old/limited appearance BQ opponents was the special loot they brought.) What about replenishing Maleria's quest pool?

[Edit] Okay, so since I typed this it appears that tokens are available after all and there is a prize pool beyond xp. That's good at least.

Really hoping the exp ramps up at higher difficulties, cause otherwise, that's just insulting. And once again the exp didn't even go to the pet I battled with.

That is a significant change to what I got the first time. (Well, what I was promised... it didn't get awarded. >:K)

Seems that was an error and now the exp is awarding and back to the levels before the first reset.
