Ah, understandable. I always hated closing shifts when I worked retail. Cleaning up after all the day employees sucks.

They all look fine from the outside. None are frozen they all have what seems to be all pets intact. They're all stealth, though, so I can't see the last login. It might just be an error on Neopets' part - there have been times when something similar happened to me.

Thanks :D Yeah i put them on stealth because my accounts are high profile enough to get people try and hack them, me being super inactive enables people. Hence the stealth modus

Neo has always been pretty terrible for hacking. I remember reading an AMA article about how people used help site logins to systematically hack accounts by accessing the email they signed up with and getting a request password. It was pretty terrible and eye opening. I've never been a high profile user, so no one would care about my accounts anyway. Though I put a lot of effort into them, I'm not sure I'd be devastated if I lost my account - not as much as I would have been a year ago, anyway.

Had my driving licence test today! Went well, but I won't know for sure for a couple days!

This should be a fun event, yay! :) I'm debating cashing in for gold, so I can do more quests - up to 33k/45k items now. I was planning on waiting until I only had 10k left, but extra quests is tempting for the event.

Yeah, not so much. The environment here is so negative all the time. When my sister and husband are communicating, they're always arguing and yelling. I show more interest in the kids than their own dad. Their marriage is very miserable, but they don't show any desire to work on it. I literally never get to leave the house unless it's the occasional grocery run. I love them, but I can't do this.

That does sound really toxic :( No wonder you're having a rough time. I'm surprised they'd expose you to that without any regard for how you feel about it. It definitely sounds like getting away is the right choice.

I feel bad for wanting to leave, but I'm such a sensitive person. I don't thrive here.

Sorry for not being on much to help the quest thing the past few days, but I've been question some yesterday and today. I've gotten about 10, I think. Not much, but it helps.

I think that's understandable - no matter who you are and how tolerant you are, that would get to you, eventually :( Do you know what you're planning to do next, once you leave?

I don't think you have to worry. We're already at 400k/500k of the quests needed and there's still half the time left. I think it'll be just fine, and since you've participated some, you'll qualify for the prize too :)

When I get back I plan to immediately put in my resume at the preschools where I live. I want to put my degree to good use. I'm also going to apply to other temporary jobs in case I can't get in at a preschool for a while. Pretty much regardless, I just want to work and start saving for getting my own place, wherever I choose to move to.

I don't need a new pet slot, but maybe at some point I'll want one. I neglect my pets too much as it is. :/
