Bulbasaur, Cyndaquil, Treecko, Piplup, Snivy, and Fennekin. I don't really have a favorite type, per se, so I just go with whatever one I like the most. Cyndaquil is my all-time favorite starter, though.

Admittedly, I don't like any of the unevolved 4th gen starters.

I always pick the water types :) The only gen where I liked all of the starters was gen 2, and I happily restarted my game a few times just to do a playthrough with all of them <3

Charmander, Totodile, Treecko, Piplup, Snivy, and Fennekin. There's not that much consistency. Two of each? :) I don't think I have a favorite type, per say, but I have a favorite look.

I always feel terrible going back on my most loved starters, sort of like when you get attached to a romance in a game, you can't manage to pick any other one than the original...

I also always so for fire starters. Occasionally I go for water...maybe, rarely. Pretty much never go for grass types.

Really prefer Grass types, except Chikorita - way too pretty/flowery/feminine looking for me. I really hate all of those 3 starters though... totodile is best of the worst

Tepig is the only fire type I have ever liked, not only limited to starters - but Snivy is my second favorite starter ever (after bulbasaur) so if it were in a any other gen I'd pick it

These are my favorites -- I actually thought I leaned more toward Grass but I guess it's pretty even between Grass and Water! It entertains me that none of the Fire-types are my favorites now, as I always chose the Fire type as a kid, haha. I like most of the starter Pokemon and I try to vary my starters; I've used everything but the three Kalos starters and Emboar at least once (not a fan of Emboar or the Kalos starter final evolutions...)

I absolutely love fire types! I actually chose Tepig for generation 5, but on another play thorugh I picked Oshawott and I found out that Dewott is amazing so Oshawott it is. For Gen 6 I like Froakie about as much as I do Fennekin, but Fennekin gets the slot lol I like all of the starters really though. X3
