My idea
- Shimmering Fabric From the Ocean Depths
3.Long gown with the high slit, but on the right hand side(when looking at the ha), with examples of how I would like the neckline to be, instead of what is used in the reference, and the flow of the train.

The second or fourth color(starting from the left) from this palate for the body of the dress and train with the neckline and gems being silver/white
OR
The third color from this palate with the train being the lighter, so the fourth color possibly

So for my entry, I instantly thought of moray eels, because they're such charismatic reef dwellers. Then I was thinking: what type of item suits an eel? Well it has to be a scarf or tights, something to emphasize their long, anguiliform body shape. So tights it is! Then I had to narrow it down to what type of moray I wanted to use. Enter: the ribbon eel.
They're so awesome, and long and squiggly and have funny faces and amazing colors. So I'll condense my ideas under here (so they're easier to read lel).
Optional name/desc: "Mermserizing Ribbon-Like Tights" - "They make your legs look exceptionally long and thin." (not too sure on that name tbh) Type of item: Tights! Color palette: They'd be lighter blue at the top and go dark until they switch to yellow at the feet. They'd also have the characteristic yellow and black fins of the eel as a stripe along the side. Like this:

Obviously they wouldn't look exactly like that because that took 2 seconds to doodle but they could have that sort of design.
Also I was thinking the CI could be a picture of the eel poppng out from inside of the tights.[/spoiler]

I was thinking the fins and tail could made into a back bow and tails or like the fins as wings the tail fins down at the bottom. do something like that I love the fins of the fish -

Your color palette (If possible, please post pictures of colors (from a photo for example!) or detail the kind of colors you want - 'soft turquoise with muted gold, white swirly patterns' as opposed to 'teal and gold and a bit of white'. There will be no recolors of the item, so choose your colors wisely!

Item: A flowing back bow like the (but more in line with the angle of the HA base) with the tails similar to except it trails out more behind the HA and has the beautiful flowing texture of the tail and fins.

Colour: I love the colour palette of the fins and tail of the fish in the image above, with the pale blue fading into white. However if you prefer other colours, maybe these palettes?
A more intense blue or a very pale (almost nude) pink fading to translucent white.
- CI: Maybe just an image of a Rosetail Betta? Boring, I know... DX Or a mannequin/model modelling the item?

so my idea is for a strapless, drop-waist dress based on the arowana.
it would have:
-sweetheart neckline
-fitted upper part of the dress to work with layering waist items
-upper part of the dress would have the large arowana scale print running down it
-and a lower slightly flared out, fish fin-like semi-sheer panel of fabric extending the dress to just about above the knees
- for whatever color would potentially get picked I'd like that sheer panel to be the coordinating fin color for that particular fish

Black with the strap going across the abdomen and the strap across the chest attached to the sleeve (but not the sleeve itself) gold like the stripes on the fish. Or all black. Alternatively, any of these HEX codes would be really great for a bright ocean blue type of color: 66CCCC, B0F4F0 or 9AF0F4.

Wearable - Chest Idea: One shoulder, mid-thigh length dress. Shoulder of dress begins with the circular pattern found on the anterior end of the fish. Circles begin small and begin to increase in size as fabric progresses to chest area where the shape shifts to the the larger pattern. Alternating between black, white, and neon blue. The pattern should not be concentric, but random and haphazard in thickness and edges. The bottom of the dress ends in the circle pattern found at the shoulder and rather than a straight edge ending, the hemline and shoulder of dress mimics the circular pattern.

Pauldrons! I FRIGGIN' LOVE PAULDRONS. So the idea is that the tail part will face the neck, with the teeth starting to head down the outside of the upperarm/shoulder. So the lower jaw would be gone, and the little angler light would be above a bit. Then maybe some chains 'fishing wire' along the front? Or maybe fins near the chest.

Grays and blues, silver chains. And if there was more than one branching out into brighter colors of other fish would be cool.

If we go with the idea of the fishing wire/line maybe an anglerfish with fishing line hanging out from its jaws? If not the line, then just an angler would be sweet. <3

I'd really love for you to do something of my wetpets!
Please take inspiration form one of my marble peacocks? Technically they're the same species of fish, and subspecies too. I chose them, easily, because they are both the children of one of my first African Cichlids, 'Big Mama', who passed away at about 14 years old, and one is the son of 'Pretty Boy' who got himself trapped underneath a rock.
Their names are Obby (Pic two) and Pepper Please excuse the iPhone photo! These guys have six feet of space to roam around in and love to swim as fast as possible whenever a camera's around.
A dress would be wonderful, or a skirt with the colour pallets that they have. u w u Maybe something like 'Orange marbled skirt' or 'Pink marbled skirt' would be a simple enough name?
And I'd love to see the CI just being one of them swimming in 'fabric' to make it relevant to the item name?
Bonus: The magnificent 'Pretty Boy' (Sorry for the tail nibble, he was a new introduction! They have to establish a hierarchy!) And the stunning 'Big Mama'! With Obby in the bottom left. Both these photos and the first photo of Obby were taken in another tank.
You may also want to use Roid as a colour reference since his orange/blue is more iridescent if you decide to go with the OB morph.
Fun fact! Marble and OB peacocks are both 'manmade' subtypes of the genus Aulonocara. There are 22 natural occurring distinct colour variations, but they vary from place to place with subtle differences. Yesterday I was up at the fish shop and one fish, for example 'Neon Blue Peacock' had two pages dedicated to the slight variants. The variants all depend on where they are found (which is all around Lake Malawi in Africa!). They're mainly herbivorous grazers, but do eat meat if they can. I have over ten peacocks in total, and they are only some of the fish I keep in my 6x2x2 tank.
