My favourite holiday memory is a recurring one - when I was little, my grandmother would stay over at our house on Christmas Eve every year and then help my parents get the turkey ready and in the oven. They'd do it at like 6am so it would be ready when all of the rest of the family came over in the afternoon. So I'd wake up, probably closer to 8 or 9 to the delicious smell of turkey, then we'd have bacon and eggs breakfast and open presents. It was so special because my grandmother had six kids and so that side of the family was so huge - it was awesome that she was with us on Christmas and then everyone else would come over later too.

My favorite holiday memory is when we used to do christmas eve with my entire family at my house! Even though we still do christmas eve with the entire family...we now do it at my aunt's house and we've lost quite a few family members since then. So it's always a fond time to remember times with those who we have lost and who we haven't.

Santa Claws, urhurhur~
One of my best Christmas memories was the first year I was away from home for the holidays when I went to college. My family couldn't be there, and I couldn't go see them since I'd just spent monies to move. They shipped me this huge box full of presents. The very first one on top was a webcam so that I could hook it up and share with them while I opened all the rest. It was such an amazing feeling to spend it with them, even though we couldn't actually be together. <3

My favorite memory.. there are quite a lot, but one of the most recurring ones is the visit of the midnight mass on christmas eve. I participated many years with the recorder orchestra until we were disbanded ;_; Hopefully I'm able to go this year, the last two years I always had the flu at christmas and stayed at home in bed and I really miss to meet old friends there in church x_x
And to share a little funny christmas story: One year we had a wonderful white christmas and while watching the people outside, we saw a car that wanted to get up the small hill (the street we lived on rises a bit) but didn't manage to do so because it would always slide back after reaching a certain area. In the end the driver gave up and probably took another route 😂
I KNOW HIM.
My favorite memory is one that happens every year. I wake up on Christmas morning to my mom baking cinnamon rolls for breakfast and my siblings and I always had matching pj sets as well xD
My favorite holiday memory is when I was really young and I wanted to "catch Santa" I set up a camcorder to film the tree and see if he came. When I looked back at the film, I saw Santa by the tree and my favorite rabbit toy "came to life" and was whispering and talking about Santa leaving all the presents and cleaning up the lens xD Of course I found out when I got older that my mom was dressed as Santa and my dad was making my toy move and talk.

I'm a bit late, but hope it's okey ^_^
GIF: I really love how cozy and warm this gif looks. And yes, another cat-lover in the thread :D
One of my most happy holiday memories is the time my best friend and I spent the whole day playing in the Ice Town. It is a complex of statues and slides, made from a solid pieces of ice or ice bricks. The bright illumination garlands, installed into them, made everything look even more beautiful in the dark. We were 12 years old; wrapped in bunch of coats, scarves and other proper 'equipment', as if we were real Arctic explorers; and ready to have fun :)
