I thought about doing that, but I also have others to spend all my sp on. And my inventory is so much more manageable now. Do you think there's a chance for more Gourmand achievements?

How did you pull that off? My program won't let me get away with just creative writing, they want essays, lots and lots of essays. sighs And that would be part of why I'm slacking off on it at the moment ... I should probably work on changing that.

I bet they'll add more eventually. The gourmand achieve only came out like a year ago or something, right? I bet they'll add more tiers as time goes on and food keeps getting added around the site.

Did it? I didn't know that! I don't really noticed when achievements are added, I just do them every now and then. Need more achievement dares, though, to tell me which to work on next. It's not helpful when I get dared to buy from the token shop xD

The courses I'm taking are very practical. The only reports I have to write are commentaries on the short stories I submit as assignments, and then two big essays at the beginning and end of each course. Other than that, it's about getting as much writing done as possible. (: I think I'd go crazy if it was any other way.

Are you doing a creative writing course of some sort? It sounds very fun :)

My daily goals are to write a poem each day. Actually, if you don't mind, I would love to post the poem that I write each day. I created a thread a few weeks ago but that didn't really take off...

Thanks for the vote of confidence! (Even if it may be slightly misplaced, lol) I did make it up to 2,070 words today--so if I'd stuck to what my goal was for last week I'd be good. Methinks I should aim more for realistic goals in the future instead of optimistic ones. :P Anyhow, still happy with how things worked out--I got more than I did last week and I think I've broken through the awkwardness of jumping back in to a story that I haven't worked on for over a year so that's a huge plus. It was so much less painful than last even if I did set up my hero in an impossible situation where I'm pretty sure he's going to get killed. It's okay though 'cause his goddess girlfriend isn't likely to let him stay that way if she can help it. :D

Report time! Did you make your goal for week?

I have 2,185 words =D I was away for most of the week so I'm pretty happy I got this done in spite of that. I'm working on a story that I've scrapped a few times so I'm hoping I'll actually be able to complete it this time around. I'm really excited about the way it's turning out at the moment :) (yay, motivation!)

This week will most likely be a boring week at home, so I'd like to be able to finish the prologue of the story, no matter how many words that takes.

- It's a long weekend here, I have until tonight! lol. I was going to do some writing, but then I forgot that some of my story is still in my notebook, and I forgot my notebook when I went away for the weekend. So my word count is.... 0 Go me!

I completed my goal! I wrote about a strange dream I had involving runes and a strange old man. I'm only going to have one evening to write this week, though. I think my goal will be to punch out a revised outline of the story I'm working on.

Unfortunately I didn't reach my goal. Haven't even started my essay, but I plan to today (didn't get to while on vacation). I only wrote one poem. But I have been reading some contemporary poetry.

Poem I wrote last night, up for critique c:

Oceanfront Whales in Depoe Bay Tease, taunt, and beckon You, the tourist to embark on A boat trip especially for them

As much as you love whales And as much as they love attention It seems implausible that they would be willing To greet you every hour

But breathing is indispensible So they surface to pay their respects to Oxygen Tooting their blowhole horns And sometimes waving a fin or two

Sorry about the essay but at least you got started with some poetry, right? :) I'd try to offer a critique but poetry in any form is not my strong point as my past teachers could have told you, lol. Fun topic though!

ugh i'm so disappointed! i made last week but utterly failed this week! not unless you want to count notes written in class XD anyway, next week i'm going to say 1.5K!
