Yay on your report! I wrote maybe half of my goal this week, probably cause I'm commissioned to write a certain piece and I want to write other things, different from my usual genre. I also have my 2nd interview this week, so I may have spent a few unnecessary hours picking out a new interview outfit and not getting anything productive done. XD

Yay, congrats! I met my goal of writing a poem a day this week! However, I should have also set a goal for my analytical essay...which has received procrastination. By next week, my goal is to continue writing a poem a day, AND have a polished final draft of my King Lear close reading/analytical essay, as well as two peer review letters, and a metacritical (reflective) essay on the process. My Family As Microcosm course is demanding, I know...

Yay! Good job! I wrote about 500 words, not enough to meet my goal. I've been lacking much needed inspiration D= I'll try writing 1k words by Monday. Never know, it could happen lol

I could just set my goals as "do my seminar work" but that would be way too easy to complete a goal each week, as I kind of can't get away with not doing my seminar work. So I'll keep my goal as is, until I eventually get more than a paragraph written in one sitting -.-

Wow I guess we've all been busy last week, hopefully some of you have been writing =) unlike me lol with constant job-hunting, battling seasonal allergies, and daily chores, I've really been putting my story on the back burner. I know, I'm a bad monkey. This week I want to try and write at least 1k words. Anyone else want to set themselves a goal?

- Well, I've been working more on re-reading the beginning of my story, though I'm running out of time ot be where I want to be for the beginning of Nano this year :(

- I haven't been writing--I've been so busy I hardly noticed we missed a week! My place has been chilly, which makes it hard to do any work. I need to finish my thesis by mid-November, though. I'll set myself another 500 word goal. Hopefully I will get started writing.

What allergies do you have in the fall? Also--good luck with the job hunt. Not looking forward to that myself.

Lol ditto. This might sound a bit silly but I'm allergic to dead leaves. I get all congested and start sneezing like the world is ending (not to mention my nose constantly tickles too. Ugh.). Luckily, I don't get a reaction each fall, but it's so annoying when I do.. And thank you. I absolutely hate job hunting. Lately I've been getting interviews, which is good, but that's really where it ends. No call backs and certainly no employment. At least I'm practicing my interview skills in the mean time :)

Oh my goodness, I totally forgot that the NaNo was coming up! I hope I have time to write!

I'm not prepared at all whatsoever! I'm in my first term of uni, so I'm going to die from all the work I have to do. Trying to do NaNo on top of that is going to be death ><

- I'm sure you'll manage. I only started doing nano in university, somehow I managed to win 2 of 3 times, despite midterms and labs and final papers.

Haha, I'm not sure I'll manage it xD All my friends seem to have lots of free time and I'm here like "WHY DOES LAW HAVE SO MUCH READING?!" Haha!

Sometimes I feel a little bit like parts of my brain have died haha! The creative parts, and the parts focused on enjoying life...

- That's called growing up :( It sucks, don't it? Maybe doing Nano will help you get some of that back! Worst that happens is you don't finish right?

I kind of fried my brain over the last few weeks with waaaay too little sleep and working on putting together a decent portfolio, HOWEVER, I have actually been writing! :D Been doing a little choose your own adventure type story as part of some CW releases and although second person isn't really ideal it's been really good to be back writing regularly and I think it's helped to get me geared up for nano.

Goal for this week is really just to finish up this story/event thingy and then leap right into Nano as soon as November pops it's head up. GAH, I can't believe we're almost to November! Why couldn't we have had an extra month of August or something?

I bet you can't wait for school to be over either though :P

I need to polish up my portfolio too.. That sounds like a of fun actually =) I loved those types of books when I was little. Good luck with NaNo :) I think I'll sit it out this year. I doubt I'll have the time or motivation.
