I'm assuming saving her will give you the rachni as a resource for fighting the Reapers.

Alternatively, Bioware could just give us one big middle finger for being Paragon and have the Reapers indoctrinate the rachni and turn them against us, inciting another wave of the Rachni Wars.

I'm also exceedingly curious about the default start ME3 will give if you don't import a ME2 file! Do you think it will connect with the ME2 default? and who, if anyone, dies on the default suicide mission??

If you don't import, the demo gives you a selection of Ashley, Kaidan, and many. I'm guessing the many option makes it so a few of your team members in 2 or crew (if you weren't fast enough in the Omega-4) were killed.

Edit: Forgot to mention that on the 'many' option, Kaidan was the one lost though that might change depending on your Shepard's gender like starting up a fresh game on 2 did.

Since Mass Effect 2 default was a massive kick to the groin, I imagine Mass Effect 3 will be similar. I mean, they are trying to convince you to buy and play all of their games..

I'm actually surprised that when I selected "Many", we still got Wrex. Because he's a default death in ME2 if you don't play ME1. But maybe that's just the demo?

I quite enjoyed the demo, and the MP too! Too bad there are only 2 maps, haha. Can't wait for release though.

I'm not sure you can even DO that mission if both Wrex and Mordin aren't alive, because I'm fairly sure Mordin will be a default ME2 death if you don't import.. he's just SO EASY to get killed. That's probably why they were both there.

So durin multiplayer, I unlocked the Krogan Soldier, and wow, just wow. Exactly as I imagined playing a krogan would be like. You're a crazy, melee bashing, shotgun wielding near indestructible tank and it is awesome.

I unlocked the Drell Vanguard. I'm normally not a Vanguard player-- my attempted run at playing one in the first game ended pretty quickly, although I imagine I'll be going back to it at some point-- but I found it rather fun this time around. :3 Vanguard is massively broken in multiplayer.

That character was fun too, especially the KSing part of biotic charge! all the classes are pretty easy if you use an assault rifle/heavy pistol I found out, unless they're Krogan where I just use the claymore shotgun (full damage, full weight) Can't imagine any of the classes being nerfed, since it's not pvp action.

Biotic Charge is just so broken.

lol how? I always fly like a missile at whatever I target, killing it instantly. only problem was that I'd get caught on walls/sometimes lets me fly up.

infiltrator is probably the cheapest class to play considering you can just go invisible and heal everyone w/o breaking stealth.

I meant 'broken' as in 'game breaking', as in 'no one else ever has to kill anything ever'.

I'm primarily an Infiltrator player myself, in both SP and MP.

Seriously, I've tried all the others and I just can't get in sync with anything biotic and I find soldiers a bit boring. Plus, I love using the Widower like woah.

I chose a Soldier for my original Renegade run on ME1, and I think it fits very well personality wise-- not sure how much I'll like it when I get around to importing my file, though. I like Incinerate too much.

My first run through was with a soldier as well, mostly because my now-ex encouraged it was a good first-timer class.

I abuse the crap out of incinerate. I'm pretty sure the only power that Infiltrators get that I find pointless is AI hacking. Never found a good enough use for it :I.

I found AI hacking very useful, but I never actually used it-- I carried Tali with me basically everywhere and she spammed it like crazy. It was good for dealing with Fenris mechs and enemy drones.

Ah, that's what I mean. Same reason I could never use a tech class, I take Tali with me as much as possible during the second half of the game. Her little robot-droid is the most helpful thing during Legions "recruit mission" dealio. Friggin' husks everywhere.

I think I took Garrus and Mordin with me for that one.. I always found it amusing how, in my own personal experience (because I know this isn't coded in or anything), Garrus was stupid. He decided to run into everything he saw rather than be smart and take cover. Mordin, on the other hand, hid behind things like a smart person and lived. He was good at dealing with husks while I cowered behind a pillar a million miles away and revived Garrus until I ran out of Medi-Gel.
