Wow, I love stuff like tea parties and BBQ's! ❤ And yummmmmy sweeeets. ^0^ Halloween is coming up soon, and that means..... Candy corrrrrrn! I love sweets, cakes, biscuits. Pity they don't love my waistline xD What is the Michelin star restaurant? Tell us what the food is like, or better yet, take pics and upload of all the yummy goodness. :) I love taking pics of the food when I go out ^0^ Ikr, kpop is awesome. I listen to all types and genres of music, but kpop is by far my fave. Yep, when I go into the mall, I will get people who still recognize me and they take the mick. That's the 'perks' of living in a small town, too. Everyone knows everyone. xD
couldn't be on for 2 days, husband moving to CA on Wed, our best friends came up from TN to see him before he goes. Is it over? Did I miss it? Or can I still send angelic rocks? I'm so sorry!
Clearly Subeta doesn't want me to post tonight because I just posted something and when the page reloaded I got brought to some weird twilight zone alternate universe thing because I was sent to a help/questions forum thread from like January.
I was just asking when this giveaway ends because you don't have a time on it. I assume it's the final one since it's a big doozey so I figure basically on the 2nd or whatnot, but if it ends sooner let me know. I may send more of my item tomorrow morning when I am more awake.
As far as it looks it's still going on, definitely until morning of not until later in the day or even until her birthday, but might as well get in on it while you can.
That just did that to me, like 2 minutes ago. I was like, "Whaaaats going on here"? Cue the theme music from The X Files.
Ok good so it's not just me. That means I'm not as tired as I thought I was, but definitely tired enough to call it a night.

- How will you have room for so many pianos? :P
Anyway, embarrassing speech time. XD
The most embarrassing times are when I end up crying in front of people - particularly guys I like. I'll share a few, short experiences.
When I was in elementary school, the fire alarm would make me scream and cry. I would run outside when no one else did. Then, the teacher would have to get me.
In middle school, I was walking around school with dog poo stuck on my shoe. I didn't realize it until the end of the first class: band. I kept on smelling something gross, but couldn't pinpoint it. Towards the end of class, the person sitting next to me pointed out I had poo on my shoe. It was so embarrassing, because I started crying and everyone heard that I had poo, including a guy I had a crush on. I ran out of the room and went to the bathroom. Then, I started gagging when washing the shoe. A faculty person saw what I was doing, and showed me how to clean the shoe.
Last year in college, I was in a class where I had to use power tools to cut wood. After the professor demonstrated how to use the chop saw, the students had a chance to try it. When it was my turn, I messed up and almost had wood fly everywhere. The professor panicked and yelled a bit about how I messed up. Then, he showed me the right way to use the saw. I started crying because I tend to cry when I really mess up. My boyfriend, who at the time was just a classmate I had a crush on, saw me and asked if I was okay. I ended up talking to him after class about it. While this was embarrassing, it made me like him more, because he was genuinely concerned about me.
I was terrified of fire alarms as a kid too! You should have seen me the one time in kindergarten when they malfunctioned and went off like 3 times in one day :P
Mischievous Diadem available in my CW shop!
- Yay, I'm not the only one! :3
3 fire alarms in one day sounds like a nightmare to me. I still hate fire alarms... they really hurt my ears. It sucks having sensitive ears. :(
Ugh don't even mention fire alarms. My high school had a case of the I'm-gonna-be-cool-and-pull-the-fire-alarms-basically-every-day-kid. It was not fun. I'm not necessarily terrified of them now that I've just about been desensitized, but I was terrified of them the first few times since they were so loud and screechy. I get it's supposed to warn you and be able to wake you up and such, but does it have to break my eardrums in the process? Ugh.
- Ugh, not fun at all. Fire alarms should just be called the "eardrum breaker alarm".
And, they can indeed bust your eardrums. And too much noise in your ears can also cause vertigo. Having fire alarms does actually pose a risk to people's hearing.
Yeah, heck even the alarms for being attacked/rocket alarms in Israel weren't so bad but they were audible enough that you would know what to do.
I think nowadays they're trying to come up with alarms that are annoying and obnoxious but won't cause ear damage. Like the one in my apartment talks to you, says "this is the alarm system" or whatnot and instructs us how to exit the building. They had a test like a week after I moved in and they said it might run anytime between 8am and noon and so I was having a hard time sleeping in the morning because I anticipated this loud screetchy alarm and got that instead. It's annoying and still a loud voice, but definitely ten times better than other fire alarms.
Tell me about it. When I was in Sydney for the B.A.P concert, I stayed at a backpackers hostel. Got ready for bed, in the nightly fashions. Was just dozing off to sleep then "Beeeeeeeep Beeeeeeeep. Please evacuate the building, this is NOT a drill." And it was loud. And I never had a chance to get any clothes on, we all had to get out of the building. So there were all were, standing in the middle of one of the busiest streets in Sydney, and I was shivering my ass off in my negligee. Which was see through. TT^TT
The above was probably a close one to the embarrassing story. Except this happened in Sydney, and I didn't know anyone there. xD
Yeah, I've had tons of fire alarm experiences at college too but luckily I stayed in long enough to be comfortable. I've had friends who were in the shower with soap in their hair and would need to run outside in whatever they could grab in the last minute. It's mostly a habit now to run out as soon as you hear it because you want to not only protect yourself because you think it's real but also because it's so loud and obnoxious you want to get as far away from it as possible. And I get doing drills maybe once or twice a year MAX but when the fire alarms weren't pulled, the schools I was in liked to do them like every other month or something. Either that or someone burned popcorn in their microwaves too often.
