Music Wars!! I really love sharing my music so I don't really care if it goes beyond 100-1000sp. I can't send it to you anyways because I don't have it either (even if it's in my WL) </3 cries My favorite genre of music would probably be indie/rock or anything mostly from the 80s-90s. The item I chose is the Arctic Frost Keychain. [preview=Arctic Frost Keychain] The scenery, more than the name itself, gives you (and me) the vibe that I feel whenever I listen to music like such. My favorite bands include Phoenix, The Arctic Monkeys, Fleet Foxes, The Local Natives, San Cisco, Vampire Weekend, Incubus, The Kooks, The Ramones, Fitz and the Tantrums, etc. I listen to other bands/solo artists as well but those ^ really give me the vibe I want for my entire life. As you can see, the keychain looks very peaceful with a vivid imagery at the background. It also has a perfect balance of the warm and cool colors, without anything standing out too much. The songs of the bands above are a big part of my life. They get me through the good, the bad, and basically everyday. They make me feel happy, calm, sad, reflective, energized, and amazing. I'm not much on winning the contest but I just really like sharing my music because it feels much like sharing myself as well. If you haven't listened to them, I can suggest some of their songs to you :) I hope you enjoy them as much as I do ^_^

Speeches!! My most embarrassing moment would probably be when I was still a child, around 5 years of age. We lived in a compound (like a smaller village inside our village) and that time, I was still peeing my bed at random times. My sister and I shared a room, and I occupied the top bunk of a double-decked bed. One night, I slept so well and woke up to my screaming sister. It turns out that I peed so much, it leaked through the mattress and dripped on to her. WAAAAAH. The mattress then had to be washed and hung out to dry where all my neighbors could see huhuu.

Uh, I remember having a job interview, everything went quite well ... except for the fact, that I adressed the company boss by a wrong name ... the whole interview ... at the end we shook hands, he smiled and said, that I adressed him wrong. My face turned red and I cried after I left the building xD Nevertheless I managed to get a traineeship, but nothing more then that ^^ Since that I always make me some little notes when I get invited to a job interview, so I don't make the same mistake twice @

Music Wars: Two words. POWER BALLADS. Yeah it's a rock sub-genre; but these are the songs you stick on and EVERYONE sings along. They can't help it, it's a physical response. As natural as breathing. Heck, even without the music actually playing, a hearty "Woaaaaaah we're half way theeeeere" guarantees you a "wooo-OAH! LIVIN' ON A PRAAAAYER" reply, and so on and so forth. The love guitar fits this one perfectly, because power ballads always contain a) crooning about a loved one, b) guitars. Ta-daaaa.

Speeches: Most embarrassing moment ever? I don't really feel embarrassment much (perhaps even when I should do)... but I suppose the obvious one would be the first time I broke a bone. Last year, it snowed in January. I was supposed to be working on my dissertation, but instead, I went outside with my housemates to fling snowballs at each other. Now I was no fool - I dressed for snow WAR. My jeggings and shirt were vulnerable, so I coated myself in a protective Batman onesie. No snow down the trousers for me! Safe from 'down the shirt/ trousers' attacks and with my hood (complete with mask/ eye holes/ pointed ear tips) I strode out proud into the street. The chilly weather couldn't even reach me. I was invincible. And then I discovered the bin lid. The bin lid was a thing of beauty. I realised that, with one simple scooping motion, I could lift and transport triple the amount of snow on that thing than I had with my hands - and conveniently dump it on the head of my enemy. Needless to say, the battle was tipped in my team's favour. Unfortunately, after a while of having their arse handed to them, the other team noticed the cause of their plight. They stole my bin lid in a stealth attack. I took it upon myself to chase after it; I wrestled it off their leader, turned and ran - and SMACK, I hit the floor. Ended up lying on a yoga mat for a bit, waiting for an ambulance car to get there. So what followed was a procession of cars slowing down and going "Batman? You need any help? Heheheheheheh drives off" while I lay there yeah thanks you tossers and then me being wheeled into hospital where a) one nurse bloke yelled "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! BATMANNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!" so everyone looked at me and b) the stern looking, grizzled old policeman looked at me and uttered this little schoolgirl giggle. Oh and I was scolded for breaking my ankle during a snow fight at the age of 21. .............no regrets.

Speeches my most embarrassing moment would probably be one time during middle school when a lizard crawled up my pant leg and I let out this super high pitched yelp because i had no idea what was in my pants. So i get up and my plastic chair falls over and the desk nearly does too, but the lizard just wont come out and I have to literally reach up my pants in front of everyone to pull out this squirming little lizard. I switched to skinny jeans after that.

Speeches ---> In college, one of my classes was comparative social sciences. We wrote a test and the teacher was not very content with us - we had exams in more important classes these days and nobody paid much intention to his ideas and we learned only very superficially for this subject. So he told us to write the test again as a home work and this time, with much more detailed and lengthy written pleadings. Because normally, the teacher was a very laid back one, I kind of thought he would be joking. It was summer and I was out and about with friends, enjoying the days. Some days later, social scences classes again, he told me to read my essay loud to the class. I was so shocked, I really didn´t think he would have assigned that in ernest! My friend Angelique pushed her paper over and whispered "read this" what I did yet I never have read the essay before and it was 13 pages long and she was a very conservative girl - I liked her yet we often didn´t share the same social ideas. So I blushed, read her paper without knowing to which conclusions it would lead and tried to read in a halting yet convincing voice with growing horror what I would state in the end. It was really old-line and not my point of view yet it was argued conclusively and the teacher liked it because it was reasoned and structured. A year later after my exams he told me he never thought before this day I would be such an old-fashioned girl. died :-)

When I ripped my pants and I was only wearing a thong. I didn't know I ripped my pants so I walked into the movie theater with my booty showing. Luckily I had a hoodie with me so I tied it around my waist. After the movie I had to go to the bathroom. After that I had forgotten about my ripped pants and put my hoodie on. Yeah... I walked around the one hallway with my booty showing AGAIN!!! (my mom was with me so she was like helloooo! your pants are still ripped!) facepalm

Music Wars

So really honestly I'd love to pick more than one musical item for this, because I love a whole lot of music and there are plenty of good choices I'd add to a party mix. I don't have one particular genre that I like and a lot of different styles work really well for a KICK ASS party.

So I went with the Because 90% of the music I listen to has a guitar in it, if not 2 and or a lead guitar and bass. Which all can be used with a guitar pick.

I don't know if this counts then because to just pick a few songs/styles won't work for me. So if I fail at this and totally missed the point then I'm sorry.

I'll skip the embarrassing moment as I'm pretty klutzy and awkward as it is, so my life can be a daily embarrassing moment. :/

I will however work on something for the outfit. :)

I was born in the 60s and so grew up listening to some of the world's best music. I have quite an eclectic taste but for the purposes of this party, I'm going to slow it down with a little soft rock. Symbolised by to represent Bread.

Embarrassing moment? Oh there have been many in my life. Tripping up on stage at school prize giving, for one. Having a coughing fit during the silent moment at a funeral, for another. Listening to my Walkman many moons ago and announcing to a packed hospital ward, at the top of my voice, that "he's eaten 4 bags of crisps, one after another" (long story). Coming out of the public toilets with my skirt tucked into my knickers at age 16. Then walking across a car park before my mum thought to mention it 😑 That one stays with you. Always check, ladies. Always check.

Speeches I've messed up a lot, so this is hard. There's so many times that I've tripped or said something wrong or did something dumb. I guess off the top of my head, an embarrassing moment would be when I peed my pants in like, 2nd grade. I was sitting on a computer bench with my classmates all around me. Eventually they smelled it before I said anything. I just sat there in my own piss for a good minute, frozen in terror. LOL

Music Wars! I love Acoustic music and what better acoustic instrument is there other than the awesome guitar? It's amazing how you don't even have to try to make a nice sound come out of one; there're just made for it xD I feel like one day guitars will take over the music world. I hope they do. Other than that I also loovve electric guitars. They're SO COOL! I mean they come in so many awesome colours and shapes and you can plug it in to a speaker and play and it'll come from there! I don't know why but I find it pretty dang fascinating ❤️

Speeches Oh my god.. How am I going to reveal this to the world.. Welllll it's all in the past...................... This will be a bit gross, but here goes (that rhymed!):

When I was still going to kindergarten(about 5 or 6 years old), I had a very big problem about making friends and speaking to people, so I was always playing with this other outcast kid who had a short tongue and couldn't speak very well. I think he had a minor type of autism as well, and everyone thought he was weird so he was kind of left alone by the other kids (except me because I felt sorry for him). So one day we were playing with this set of picture puzzles and suddenly I knew I had to do my big business. Please note that at that time I had no idea how to clean up myself after I do the big b and I was too timid to ask any of the caretakers for help.. So I just sat there and fidgeted and tried to continue to play with the puzzle pieces... and soon after I just went right there......................... Then the boy went to find a teacher to tell them what I did and clean me up........................

/hides in a corner/ If I were myself then at this age I would have locked myself at home for a week out of utter embarrassment. What's worse is that that didn't only happen once. When I was having exams in primary school as a 9 year old, I got so nervous that I needed to pee, but I was too timid to ask the teacher for permission to go to the toilet, and there you go - I went right there ;-; I wish I could rewind all that oh my god.. I mean who in the world would too shy to ask for permission to go to the toilet?

Embarrassing Story

Blaaah. So this one time in high school, I won a bag of skittles in my first period class. Cool, right? So I wanted to enjoy my skittles but my second period class was Strings performance so we can't eat around instruments. Mistake : my strings teacher caught me eating it openly while setting up. She tells me to put them away and to get them away from the instruments.

So being the sly teenager that I thought I was, I put the opened bag of skittles in my sweater pocket.

Mistake : I kept eating them out of my sweater pocket. Since I was trying to be stealthy about eating the skittles, I had to maneuver my hand into my pocket in such a weird way that one mistake led to the whole bag spilling out of my sweater pocket... and I mean the entire bag spilled onto the floor under everybody's seat in orchestra and I had to pick up all the skittles... by hand... infront of everyone... :(

Four years old YEAH! (that's how old I was in August of '93) before you were born. ^-^
