Yeah, I noticed that too. The forums are hurting and threads will start dying if they don't get things squared away -- SOON! I'll keep my fingers crossed too.

Firstly, did anyone actually get this ping? Secondly, anyone want to weigh in on the fact that group pings aren't working correctly?

I'm so tired of the forums being a mess and the pings not working. Makes me not want to bother at all. I love playing in the forums and it makes me so sad but so frustrated trying -_-

I did not get the laurs ping but I did get the "Your friend mayla has pinged you to this post!" notification. I assume you used the ping friends feature?

and - I used the "Ping Friends" option on the right side in addition to the group ping as I wasn't sure the group ping would work. Glad to see the invisible ping works at least!

I got in forums, not in forum mention where I usually get pings:

Cult Ping Groups aren't working for me and neither are some friend groups or role play groups. or i get it delayed as in getting yesterdays pings today.

-km - When you check the "Ping Friends" or "Ping Favorite Friends" on the right-hand side above "Create Post", it's an invisible ping that gives you that message you posted. Your name doesn't actually show up in the post.

You're right though about the links not working correctly though now too. Every time I click on a link, whether it's an individual ping or the alert that there are new topic posts, it used to take me directly to the ping or new posts, but now it's just the top of the page, which is also obnoxious like the group pings not working.

Yup, I also only got the friend ping, not the group ping from the laurs group.

I also didn't get any token shop group pings, which should definitely be there since some items stocked.

- I can confirm that there was at least one laurs group ping for the token shop last night in the 2 AM hour, but I don't think anyone got it. There may have been some to our token shop thread, but I haven't checked.

- You got pinged twice because I checked both boxees on the right for pinging friends. Wasn't thinking completely clearly that it would ping some of you twice...

Oddly enough, I got a bwcw ping today. But buysellcw pings haven't been coming through for days and I have some stuff I'd like to continue looking for, and some stuff I'd like to sell. TSRestock and HustlerCS I gave up expecting to come through, I just subscribed to the threads because at this point it's the only semi-accurate way I'm going to catch a restock of either.

I totally learned about the ping friends, the hard way. : ( My favourite list is just my son, who is almost never on so I haven't used that one.

Got the friend ping ...everything else seems to disappear into the ether. Where there used to be an abundance of Token Shop pings and Lair pings now I just get crickets chirping.

i dont think pings are pinging. not in the thread i made in the achievement section. i pinged 2 forum groups, but nobody replied.. which is strange because they did reply in the past. i think i even tried it twice. oh, well. on the other hand, i did get pinged to several threads, but the link never took me to the post it was supposed to take me to. >.>

I've been getting a few pings, although far less than usual, although I cannot ping buysellcw at all. I tried a few days ago (around June 30th), and just tried again tonight. I think the few pings I've gotten were from customwear and then a few user groups.

I did have the same problem as in which the pings were bringing me to different pages rather than where the person had pinged from.

Not going to lie, this is really annoying and kind of harming our cult, a bit.

I miss my group pings a lot, and didn't realize how useful they were until they just.. stopped.

Hopefully this actually gets fixed soon, or at least a note of something.
