Well, this topic that I made last week is still clearly relevant (though locked). Token shop pings are still severely delayed... And there was a group ping for a birthday thread this morning that has never shown up for me; the fact that there has been so little posting on that thread since the ping leads me to believe that other members of the group haven't gotten the ping either. It's been over 5 hours since that person pinged the group... A 5 hour delay? Really? It's getting worse, not better .

dammit I wanna know if there's something I'm doing wrong or can this be FIXED?? I get other # customwear and # cwfill and random pings from friends, but NONE of mine go out!!!! I had ONE go out and that was my own personal cw group.

Pings for me are messed up as well, some days I get 15 or so, and some days I get 0, today I have had 2 personal ones from a thread I made, but not one from any cw group Im in: customwear, Popart - Karencw - Im in 10 groups and not one tiny ping :0( Im using chrome - windows 7.

also not getting pings. i haven't gotten a ping from the token shop forum group, and it's been well over 40 minutes since it was used. so yeah i def think this is still a problem?? idk why the other was locked if this is still happening.

Pings are all fucked up. BAD. I have NO idea what is going on and I wish we could get some kind of communication from staff that this is being worked on. , care to share?? 💙

[edit] those of you who use FF, although I don't know if the same thing happens on other browsers, in your tabs, usually light up with a # when an event takes place. I haven't even been getting those!!!

I know I haven't been getting the wearable group pings since the forums were changed and also the revamped ping group is pretty much a miss (I think it has worked once since the change). :(

ok, this is odd, but I'm not looking a gift horse in the mouth, so to say.... but I pinged a bunch of groups for a new cw I am releasing and I got ALL the pings I sent out.

It sounds like this is more of a hit or miss situation. All or none.

tried pinging buysellcw today,I always get whatever pings I send out cuz im in the groups,i am not receiving the pings so I know no one else is either,this is frustrating!

I don't think I'm getting all my pings. I was slotted to pay for a cw earlier and I only noticed that I owed csc when I went to submit a cw of my own. Plus someone pinged me to a board and I never got that ping either.

Some pings aren't going through for me

This may have to do with the site having some issues at the moment. My pings have been delayed since the update on them but always went through/ were received. Today I have gotten zero pings even though I know I've been pinged (but I have no idea if mine will go through since I haven't pinged today).

yup, I think it was related with the site issues - but I'm receiving the lost pings now!

I'm still not getting any forum group pings at all. I can't tell if the ones i send out are getting through to people. Plus my ping history isn't updating either.

I'm getting only the subq group ping. Nothing else as far as I can tell. Even my cult group ping isn't working now.

I haven't gotten any pings from the wearable group for months now. I am getting various other pings from groups I'm part of.

Others have done the same with the same result. Should we start a pool on how long it takes for this thread to get locked?

Again, with the token shop... Someone pinged our group at 2 something in the morning. It's now after 10 am and still no ping in my sidebar... I love you guys, but this is frustrating. I thought you wanted people to use the forums more? We can't if they don't work.

I never got the TS ping and I don't expect to. I never get the Hustler pings and it sounds like almost all group pings are delayed or non-existent. It really seems to be random who, if anyone, will get a group ping. Lots of people simply aren't pinging groups anymore because it doesn't do any good. I've just been using the new post alerts, and I don't think that is 100% either. For me it's the best way of catching a group ping.

- I have all of my subscribed threads set to ping me when there's a new post too. It's my back-up for these times when pings don't work. I have noticed that since the group pings stopped working, the chatter on a lot of the threads has been really, really low. It used to be that there would be two or three pages of new posts a day... Now it seems like there's only 4 or 5 posts at all each day.
