Granted. You can read peoples minds, but you can't figure out how to block out the telepathic background noise and you eventually start to go insane. At the same time, the people around you learn of your ability and come to hate you and promptly ostracize you. You sell all your worldly possessions and leave civilization and seek quiet solitude in a remote wilderness where you get eaten by a long-lost species of carnivorous bunnies.
