Wow! A lot of posts lol

Just to say, I did give the item back, I think I have given everything back when it was asked, cant remember a time when I didnt.. I also get the thought that this could be a 12 year old kid crying because they made a mistake and lost a lot of sP.

I did think about it before giving it back, but in the end I would of felt guilty in keeping the item when they asked for it back. It was easier to try and get the item cheap another way than it would be to keep the item and feel guilty.

Last Wednesday I came across an Ultra Star Rod for 2.9m, they forgot an extra zero. I immediately put it up in trades and smailed the unfortunate seller to bid what I paid for it. He did. Plus 800 tokens. He didn't have to do that at all.

With as many Dicks as there are on the internet it makes it that much more worth it when you come across a nice person.

I just gave someone a Truth Serum back I found for 2.5m. I actually kind of thought they were a little rude because before I even gave it back they were like "I meant to price it for 25m but if you still want it you can have it for 20m". I figured they would be a little more sorry about their mistake or something because I could've been a jerk and not even responded or traded back.

if they asked for it back, i would not give it back. if they said something like "i guess i learned my lesson, grats on the snipe", then i would give it back.

I think that you have to think "What would I do?" If I sold, for example, a Shinigami. I want a quicksale, so I put it for 50 mil, or so I think. If it turns out that it's 5mil, someone snipes it, I would probably ask for it back. But if they say no, unlucky. If they say no, then no means no. People must understand this. If it means so much to people, you check, or auto-price.

With making points as easy as it is, I dont think there is any reason to keep obvious misprices, its just bad karma in my opinion. I have given back quite a few items after contacting the seller and asking if they had made a mistake. I'd rather make someones day than keep a silly item and ruin it for them.

I've made that mistake. I sit there, curse myself for a minute then move on with life. My mistake is their lucky day x)

I've snagged a few that were probably mistakes and nobody has ever contacted me. If somebody did I think me sending it back would depend on their attitude 100%

Basically, all I have to say... is everything already posted. :P Once I mispriced a 4mil book for 400k. I was angry with myself (I usually am) for a few minutes, but never mailed them asking for it back. They got it fair and square, and it was my own stupid mistake. But it was a good lesson - I never mispriced anything else after that c;

But if it were me, and I'd sniped something, me giving it back or not would depend on a lot of things. If the user mailed me and nicely asked for it back (and that's ASKED, not DEMANDED), I would most likely give it back to them and tell them to be more careful in the future. But if the item was say, 50mil, and they'd mispriced it for 5mil, you'd think the store owner would at least double check the price of something so expensive. For less expensive things, it's not as important, but something like that should definitely deserve a second glance at the price. It doesn't take a long time to check if you've got the right amount of 0's in. Of course, if the item really WAS that expensive, chances are I would give it back anyway, because I wouldn't be able to stand the guilt. If it was something cheap, well, like other people said, I don't really see the point of getting upset over 50k. The item in question would probably deflate that low by the next day anyway. And of course, if I really really wanted the item not just to resell, but to wear/use/keep/whatever, there'd be less chance of me giving it back.

And also, as someone else said, if they were a newbie and didn't know better, I'd probably give it back, too.

Mistakes are mistakes, but the point is that you learn from them, and things aren't always going to go perfect.

I've never made a major pricing mistake, but I wouldn't contact the buyer myself if I did.

I've also never had anyone contact me to ask for things back - because I contact them first.

Like most people, I'd give it back as long as they were polite about it. I understand people make mistakes and feel like idiots; I do it sometimes too. I would set up a trade and make sure I got my money back too, though. :]

For me if they ask nicely I'm always willing to hand back for the sP in which they paid, but if they are in anyway rude they have no chance.

I've mispriced one or two times, but only one of them was I annoyed about, I lost about 10mil, the user I who nabbed them was one of the kindest I've ever met on here, actually they told me they had bought so as to send back, and as a littel thank you gift I gave them a DP plushie as a thank you gift, as well they deserved it.

But in all... those who have mispriced, well they mispriced and those who bought do have the right to keep...

If I was the seller, I'd never ask for it back. That's just wrong, in my opinion, and selfish, to top it off. Least of all things that I'd like to be labeled as, you know what I mean? As you said, it's a fair deal, and like everyone else is saying, it's not the buyer's, but the seller's, fault.

If I was asked to return a mispriced item, I think it would depend on the situation or mood I'm in, really. But I think I would probably try to be nice and give it back to the seller. Unless I'm really annoyed. Or something like that.

Icky situations, eh?
