I've mispriced several times. One buyer offered the item back but I refused as it was my mistake and had to wear it.

It would depend on whether or not they asked nicely for the return, how much I really wanted the item and if it came from the cash shop or not.

I would probably work out a deal though, so I could keep the item but they didn't lose that much profit.

Depending on the user and how nice they were, I would probably keep it. I mean if I especially liked them or something then I would give it back, but otherwise... idk it's their mistake. ._. What can I say. I wanted the item. Its their fault, not mine. Bitching at me isn't going to get it back.

It really depends imo. Most of the time I don't really bother checking the prices below the amount and just buy it. I've never mispriced anything in my shop in 2 years; so idk, how hard can it be to double check your pricing? :/

If I had underpriced an item, I don't think I'd ask for it back even if it were something truly sob-worthy, like pricing an Aemis at 4k or something.

But if someone asked me for an item back, I would give it back depending on how big their profit loss was (the bigger the loss, the more likely I am to return the item) and how nice they were about it.

I usually contact the person before they attempt to contact me.

I just did it the other day actually but they wanted the item to sell for that price.

But, I think it's always a nice thing if they ask nicely. :D

For me it's the opposite. If I had a really good snipe with a large price difference, I'd just keep it for myself. But if it was something minor like a 1 mil item for 100k, I wouldn't mind returning.

[edit] Oh, and to be safe I never price items with recurring zeros. Eg for a 5 mil item, I wouldn't price it at 5000000, I'd price at 4998998. That way it's less likely to make a mistake :)

If I find a huge snipe that looks like a mistake to me I usually contact the seller and offer it back for what I paid - or once when it was an item I wanted for my weapon gallery I sent her an item whose selling price matched what she ought to have priced hers at. I know I don't have to, but I'd feel bad if I didn't. I hope when it happens to me someone will do the same.

Surprisingly often the sellers have told me to keep the item anyway.

I figure they made the mistake, then they should have to deal with the consequences. Of course if someone ever really asked me for the item back I'd give it back. Cause i'm too nice like that. XD

I suppose i would give it back if they were at least polite about it. But like most people said if they snark and piss n moan then nosry check next time.

I myself would NEVER ask for it back because A) i wouldnt expect it back and B) it was mt fault, no matter how pissed off i got about it :P its still a game and easily fixed.

If the user asks for it back politely I will give it back.

I can't believe some of you wouldn't do this. Where is your heart?

It's just a game, and for all you know the 12 year old on the other end could be crying. Doesn't matter if its a 100k item priced 10k, or a 100m item priced 10m. I know I have made the mistake, and have always been helped by the person who got my item. I have always done the same back.

Why? only give it back if it's not worth that much anyway?

I say keep it and block if they start to harass you over it.
wow, not only have you got the attitude of a dick you're also a pussy. didn't think that was possible!

No need to return those items.
They made the mistake so it&;s their own fault.
I also miss-priced some items, but I never asked the person to give it back to me since it was my own mistake. head desk and life goes on.
This might sound cruel and mean, but actually you can&;t learn without making mistakes.
Quote by destiny
It is up to the seller to check prices. As much as it sucks, it should just be seen as a lesson. A seller should never contact the person to get it back
The user will probably have learnt from their mistakes. They get the "OH SHIT" scare, and then they feel the warmth of Subeta's community when the user returns the obviously mispriced item back to them. You can learn without suffering.

I would not give it back. If they made a mistake, that is their own fault. They should learn that the world is not going to cater to them.

What kind of masochistic way of logic are you using?

You people take the game too seriously.

It would depend on several things. One, how nice/polite they were. Two, how much I wanted the item, whether it was something I would use/wear or just something to resell. Three, what my mood was like at the moment. And possibly four, how new they are to the site. (Imagine restocking your first big expensive item, then mispricing and losing all the sP you thought you'd be rolling in. Sad!)

Mistakes happen. I'm pretty sure at some point or another, everyone will misprice something and lose a substantial amount of sP. It's just a lesson in checking your prices carefully. If I misprice something, I don't expect to get it back, and I wouldn't even contact the person who bought it. So I might be less sympathetic than some. But I wouldn't automatically say "Never give it back, EVARRR!" or anything. Just depends ;)

It is the sellers mistake for not checking the price.

How ever everyone makes mistakes.

Treating people the way YOU want to be treated is the way I am.

I would give the item back, and if they are rude, that's ok, I would block them and go on with myself. Life is to short to deal with losers, karma will get them, I don't have time.

I haven't read the whole thread, but I read first post and 's post. I have to agree on this with him. I would give it back no matter the price or item. He/she mispriced it and it was a mistake. Everybody makes mistakes.

Why? only give it back if it's not worth that much anyway? actually the opposite. if it were something really expensive and they accidentally priced it ridiculously low, then id probably give it back (like a 5 mil item for 50k).

if its only something like, a 50k mistake, i probably wouldnt bother. you can make up the difference you lost by playing 5 rounds of item hunt or something.

I completely get what you mean, but if a user is visibly distraught why not spend two minutes (or less) ti give it back? :)
