Lae let out a sharp laugh at her comment on how people thought when she used first person she was talking about herself. "It's always amazed me how people always seem to think stupid things like that. Like when they read something in second person, then get offended if it says something like "your blonde hair" when you have black hair." He rolled his eyes.
He watched her curiously for a moment when she informed him that she too knew what that felt like to not have someone close to them. "So you're an outcast like me, huh? Or is it something else?"
Caine got up from the couch and crossed to the kitchen and retrieved a Coke from the refrigerator and brought it back to Seiren. "I hope Coke's okay." He sat back down, getting comfortable once more and turning on the television. "So, Victoria's Secret, hmm?"
((Short post!!! x_X))
Viviane smiled at Lae's laugh. This is the most emotions she had shown in awhile. And to think, this guy is bringing them out so easily. How strange, she thought, listening to him still. "Yeah, it definitely is amazing how people seem to think such foolish things. I suppose it's the perspective of how you look at it really,'' she said with a slight shrug.
She could see the curiosity in him as he watched her. "Yeah, I suppose you can call me an outcast. I am no different genetically from other 'regular' vampires really, it's just that most tend not to like me. I don't really care though,'' she said softly. Her eyes told another story. They said that she secretly hated that she was alone. Eternity alone was horrible, there wasn't much to it.
Jasper nodded towards the door that he'd seen them go through. "Like You said, Breaking in Sounds Pretty Fun" His arm jutted out as though he were presenting Sonia with the door as a gift or something. "Ladies First" he announced jokingly. He knew that he had been treating her as though she were a mere weak human tonight, and wanted to give her a chance to "redeem" herself. He was a little bit ashamed of the way hed acted, but he hoped that he hadnt made a bad impression upon her.
Lae shrugged. "You're better off than me. I'm only a dhampir. A half-vampire. And we all know how vampires and humans alike feel about that." Sighing slightly, he stared at the ground and muttered, "And anyway, I've never been good at staying in relationships."
Caine jumped up before the door could even creak, hearing voices outside his door. "Get the hell out of my house, the shop is closed!"
Then the door swung open, revealing the other two vampires. An animalistic snarl ripped through his throat. What were they doing in his home? What happened to respect? He stalked stood firmly in front of Seiren, ready to protect her as he had his own sister so many times before.
Jasper trotted in, looking almost innocent. He strode forwards, already able to hear Caine's voice ripping through the mask shop. "Beautifully done" he said in Sonia's Direction before walking up the stairs and doing the same to the next door. It was disgusting, the site he saw of course. The Vampire was protecting the human. Jasper put his arms open as if say "What?" But his words were quite different. "Shunning your Own Kind? We Just want to Chat. But since you walked away, we came hunting for you. Rather Than waiting" His words were spoken in a charming voice, trying his best to show that Really he didnt mean harm. Just a Vampire, Looking for Some Fun before the Night Ended. Or mabye He Just wanted to get to know the 'dominant' vampire in the area.
ooc:Ah. Short. >.<
"Ten seconds. Speak quickly," Caine growled.
For so long, he had been the dominant vampire in the Quarter. For over a century he had not had a single challenge! Now two young vampires were breaking into his apartment like common hoods! It was disgusting.
He glanced quickly back at the burning candles. Humans had made up so many ways to kill vampires. So few of them worked. Fire, however, did. Last resort. He had a sick feeling that this meeting would end in violence.
Jasper gazed at Sonia For just a Moment Before Redirecting his Attention to the other "Will You Turn us Away So Soon?" Jasper spoke rather odd For the Time he was now in, but It was hard to break speech when you grew up in a different age. This Vampire was Much older than He. Stronger? Maybe. But the Fact that he Was Spending Time With a Human meant that He was A Little ...."off." "I know you've Noticed my....." he Looked slightly at the human girl and changed his words slightly "Noticed...me, around Town. And You've Never even Wanted to meet me? How Disturbing. You Would Rather Be with...this..Thing" his hand came down, fanning towards the girl that stood behind Caine.
"Do not refer to her as such. I show no interest in you because I prefer solitude. Now, I offer her sanctuary. However, I don't see how the matter concerns you." Caine's levels of agitation were rising. He ran his tongue over the razor edge of his fang. He tasted copper.
"Why is it that you crave my attention so?"
Jasper laughed almost cheerfully. "Crave Your attention?" It was amusing how this Vampire Thought so Highly of himself. "I do not Crave your Attention. Merely i wanted to Make your Aquaintance." Slowly one of his hands came up, brushing the few pieces of white hair away from his eyes. He just couldnt seem to understand why this vampire would Protect a human. Putting their secrets in danger.
Ooc: Sorry..So Short.
Caine nodded sagely. "I see. Well, I am Caine. You have now broken into my home, frightened my guest, and made my aquaintance." He could taste the blood that continued to flow from his cut tongue. He couldn't believe the audacity that this young vampire had.
"Now, this young lady and I were having a good time before you showed up. I think that we would both appreciate it if you would leave."
ooc: </3 short
ooc:It's okay ^_^
Jasper Growled slightly at the human girl who seemed to Be Ordering them Out. His own eyes narrowed and became almost black. "Shut your Mouth" He said, trying to keep his tone level. One thing that he would not tollerate was the insolence of a human. Without realizing what he was doing he grabbed Sonia's hand in his own and tugged her a little bit. "Sonia, I Do Believe it Is time for us To Leave." It was not only because he would rather not make his first encounter with the Male vampire end in a fight, but also because the sun would be rising soon.
