Not all known fatalities are 100% fatal, confirmed reports of people surviving headshots, lightning strikes etc demonstrate a small but non zero possibility.

Grace Kelly was the first actress to be depicted on a postage stamp.

(Hi, I'm the one that started the trend of movie/Hollywood trivia. I have a literal book full of random facts, and I go through it and choose something I think is interesting to post; I'm in the "cinema" section of it right now. >>; )

The first automobile manufacturer to equip its cars with an AC generator was Chyrsler, in the late 1950's.

(Oh, Ok. Makes sense, I've been relying on my memory to pull the bits I've posted.)

Um a fact about myself? I've been on both ends of the spectrum of weight. I was overweight back in highschool and before, then I got sick a year after highschool and have been underweight since then.

Before 1955, automobiles used a 6-volt system. The 12-volt was implemented to accommodate the growing number of electrical components. This has since upgraded to 14-volts that can output 2,000 watts.

The Tampa Bay Lightning won the 2021 Stanley Cup a few days ago. They were, in fact, the defending champions.

I find this fact rather hilarious because Tampa, Florida isn't exactly a wintery spot on our planet. And their NHL team has won the Stanley Cup 3 times now. As a former Florida resident, my brain is confused.

Automotive batteries were underneath a car until 1937, when manufacturers began placing them under the hood. This trend has reversed somewhat, with some car's have batteries in the trunk, or in some cases inside the left front wheel well.

Jericho is well known as the oldest and lowest town in the world. It was the first truly communal settlement, the first to be surrounded by walls and to feature towers and steps.

In the early '60s, when a young Gaylord Perry, a pitcher, was taking batting practice in front of a reporter, said reporter mentioned that he looked like he was a good hitter -- to which Perry's manager said they'd put a man on the moon before he hit a home run.

On July 20th, 1969, half an hour after Apollo 11 landed on the moon, Perry hit his first Major League home run.

The 1896 Armstrong was the world's first known gas/electric hybrid, It was designed by Harry E. Dey and built by American Horseless Carriage Company in Bridgeport Connecticut. Only one known model exists, owned by Evert Louwman. It is displayed in The Hauge, Netherlands. It was purchased for $483,400 in 2016. It's engine is a 6500 cc opposed twin cylinder gas engine with a dynamo wound flywheel, allowing the engine to charge storage batteries used in ignition and lighting systems, as well as rotate the engine to start. Solenoids are installed on the intake valves to release compression during electric operation. The flywheel dynamo allowed the vehicle to operate under full electric power. Among it's feature were automatic spark advance, an electric clutch, rear brakes with regenerative electric motor assist, and a three speed constant mesh semi-automatic transmission
