Ah, I've been out of the loop for a day, but I'm so glad you're continuing, ! The story is so well written and engaging that I can't wait to see what's going to happen.

Oh man, I was away for the weekend but I came back to a whole slew of new developments, I'm surprised at the turns it's taken but thank you for the clever fun!

Hi! I hope I'm not bothering you but I found your contact information on a paper on Captain Evergrove's desk. From his notes it sounds like you was helping him so I hope you can help me too. The day before last the Captain left our temporary base alone. He said he was only going to the gift wrapping center to send some souvenirs to his mom but he never came back! And the elf that works there said he never saw him... Luckily it hadn't snowed in a couple of days so we found his boot prints in the snow. Don't tell him because he's sensitive about them but he has pretty big feet so they're easy to find! A few other members of the squadron and I followed his trail into the polar ice fields. What we found was really scary! There were at least a half a dozen other pairs of footprints and signs that there was a pretty bad struggle. And there was something else too. There were marks in the snow that I didn't recognize. I'm not sure what might have made them but it was big. We also found clumps of ashes here and there and a few charred pieces of fabric that looked a lot like our uniform jackets... We couldn't follow any further because there was a pretty bad blizzard that was whipping up. I didn't want to give up but some of the older members dragged me away. They seem to have given up hope, but I haven't! The Captain is a really strong guy, I just know he's okay. But he might be lost in the ice fields or freezing. I'm on strict guard duty right now so I can't look for him myself... but maybe if you happen to be in the neighborhood of the Arctic Frost and you happen to find him... maybe you could give him my scarf? Because if he's missing his jacket he's probably cold. I know it's just a cheap knockoff scarf and the Captain probably won't like it but it's nice and warm and that's what counts! I am so glad that you decided to continue this! :) I won't quote the gift, but I have sent my pets out to Polar Ice Fields with shovels, thermoses of warm soup, and lots of scarves. I believe that the Captain is out there and needs our help!

So Sam Rose is legit, right? I didn't get any of the saboteur messages, and I think it's because I haven't posted much, but I got all of Evergrove's and now Sam's. That and the items are actually worked into the story instead of just random junk.

Gently petting the scared unicorn still in her keep, Willow offers her some favorite foods then leaves her with Ninja to guard. Taking her battler, Delbchaem, and dressing in warm clothes, she stuffs the fake scarf in a bag making sure all is prepared for any emergency.

I'm sorry for being really late to this; I've been quite busy for the last two days! I'm really glad that the story and plot has been continued, and I am sorry about the frustration you must have felt regarding the other anons, .

Thank you for writing a beautiful plot, one which undoubtedly made a lot of us happy, and may have also inspired a few to jump in!

I know the feeling. I've had my thesis, which I did 100% of the writing work on, have its credit stolen away from me by a friend who was disgruntled that I didn't help her with HER paper. It felt awful, and while it took me a long time to forgive her for that act, I felt like all my effort was in vain, until the time my teacher stood up for me, knowing that I was the only one contacting him about my thesis, and I was asking him for help on it, while he saw me going to the library and even falling asleep in the computer lab while typing it up.

See, a lot of people like your story, with all this support you have. :D
