After my fall ... in rehab ... 1 eye was crossed right to my nose and my brain was really messed up. I was able to read tho' with the aid of a patch on my left eye. TV I couldn't watch because of the movement. One of the doctors used to bring me books from his home, which I devoured day after day. When I was able to walk with the aide of a walking frame, a nurse would help me to the library and I was able to pick books for myself.

Think the reading saved my sanity.

I can only imagine! I was not an active kid when I was little. I had pneumonia several times. Reading passed the time.

LOL! I have a cousin who had two huge dogs, one a husky and the other a beardog cross. Beardogs are huge, have to be to hunt bears.

I have a French Bulldog after years of Boxers.

With the exception of a chow mix, all of my dogs have been small. I got my first dog in 1994, I'm on 10th and 11th right now. Time for me to head off, good night!
