Yay! Just got a book in the mail today, Deja Dead by Kathy Reichs. It's the first book in the series that the Bones TV show is based on. I read the first chapter and if the rest of the book is as good, I'm going to slowly get the whole series.

Her books are great. I have them all ... I think.

You and me both. I have got to the stage where I have to discard (donate to charity) some. My bookcase is that full. I have never tried reading a book on a Kindlep ad etc. I love the feel of holding one and turning the pages.

nods I refuse to read ebooks. I want only physical books and these days I prefer hardbacks. I don't buy nearly as many as I used to and I still have room in my main bookcase. I'm also looking into books by Lisa Jewell and Freida McFadden.

I have found an online charity that sells books. They have them sorted by authors and I have a book sorted by authors that I write down all the books I have written by them. So it's easy to find a book I have not read. They are very cheap and the condition of the books is excellent. And free postage if I spend over $40. Never read any of their books. I tend to stick with my favorite writers.

Is the charity set in Australia? I tend to stick to ordering here in the states. I'm going to try the two authors I mentioned to see if I like their books. Who are your favorite authors?

It is Australian based. Favorite authors too many to name. The only books I don't read are westerns and certain sci-fi. Love horror ,,, Steven King, Dean Koontz. Forensics ... Kathy Riechs, Parricia Cornwell..James Patterson, Jodi Picoult, JeffreyArcher, John Grisham. The list goes on.

For years scifi and fantasy were my main loves, though I also read mystery. I loved the Cat Who series and the books by D. R. Meredith, many of which were set right here in my hometown. I loved recognizing all the sites she mentioned! She lived right here. I recognize James Patterson and John Grisham.

Just looked him up. The books I read were the Magician series.

chuckles I have a ton of paperbacks that I haven't read in years. A lot of hardbacks in the living room too. Years ago I had a paperback bookshelf built in my bedroom and a hardback one built in the living room. Best move I ever made.

Not too fussed on wether hardback or paper, But I'd have to say most of mine are hard. Since my fall and my brain injury I do not watch much TV, Never a movie. The fast flickering affects me. If I watch TV it has to be a reality show like better homes and gardens or bargain hunt, So it is books, here and garden, Hate housework.

hugs Sorry to hear you can't watch TV. LOL, I hate housework too. My idea of cleaning up is occasionally getting sick of the mess and throwing things into boxes. And since I started using a walker I can't even do simple things like washing dishes and changing my bed. I have a housecleaner come in every two weeks for the things that must be done.
