Will we ever know our melody scores in the future?
I seemed stuck in the waiting room but when I refreshed the page, I received an alert and then I could add some items. 👍🏻

I just added my items. I went for things around 3-5mil just as a test. I hope this goes well, I love the idea!
Currently selling:
my group only had one other person in it haha so they got all my five items merry lumi to them!! i got two back but one was on my wl :)
Not sure how much better this is. I added 5 items 50k - 800k and apparently got back 30k 1 item, disappointing.
One thing I'd like to see is the possibility to cancel participation (while waiting for a group, at least).
I suspect people are approaching this as a testing mechanism, like I'm asking everyone to. We're working out bugs and kinks, I don't want any rare items to vanish. I'll make a note of that in the first post.

Received 2 items out of 15 contributed. Both were relatively high value, but there were also several duplicates of those same items, so...seems the distribution might be a bit uneven? Or am I just unlucky? Linked to value of own contribution (which wasn't much but not super cheap either)?

Yeah, I probably should not have added higher value items. All but one of my donated was 1mil+ sP. Oh well. I hope someone in the group got the items! Ha.

The pool completed! Wow- I received 7 items, none from my WL but 2 that I didn’t have including an older CW.

Some immediate thoughts:
This will be running on a full day timer, typically. Right now it's resetting roughly every 30 minutes, which might not even give people an opportunity to put in items. If someone doesn't add items, they're automatically forfeit for the melody items (Melody buys up to 8 items for the group through the day). Unfortunately, if you're the ONLY person who puts items in, you're at a "disadvantage" because it prefers, strongly, to not give your own item back to you and will try to avoid that at all costs (by giving those items to people who didn't put anything in)
And, you're given a score at the end of the day by Melody. How many items did you put in compared to everyone else? What was the relative value? Those scores won't matter for the first ~10 days, while Melody collects a list of who is naughty or nice, but after that she'll use that to calculate her groups. So you won't see your groups average out until we have the details needed to make that average happen (which will not happen during testing)

oops i think i did it wrong... i joined a waiting room and then went to go, well, wait... and then by the time i came back it said the group had completed and i got gifts but i didn't contribute anything >_< umm ok well i joined a new one and it came together quicker so i managed to put a few things in there lol.
i'm assuming after the testing is complete, groups will run for the whole day so you can't accidentally miss out on contributing, right?

👍 must admit they were r170 (and I had multiples)
I think there were 3 people in my group, 13 items incl mine, so there was a weird split going on there.
Might there be a way for npcs to add items to a 5 per person limit maybe?
