I got the waiting thing and then never got a link. I clicked something and it brought me to a page that had items with yellow and blue boxes around them.
Finally on this last round I got it to go to where I could donate my items. I don't even know how I finally got it there. I just overwhelmed and stressed out when I can't figure something out or it isn't working for me. I felt like shit to the first group because I could not donate. :(

It's just that we're testing now, so things could vanish or break in a way I didn't anticipate. Don't put in anything you'd be upset if it vanished and no one got it!

I joined a group and put in my 5 items. Now I wait for midnight for the prize distribution?
Okay, I joined group. This seems neat, I will see if it feels overwhelming to me, but I think the smaller group is easier to handle. Thank you for the information =)

My group from earlier only had 2 people in it. I put in 5, the other person put in 5, and I assume Melody put in 2 because there were 12 total items that were doled out.
I think you're taking it too seriously, we're just testing right now! If that's stressing you out, I think you can really safely wait until it's released to the full site.
No one is upset if a group goes through with no items, or weird items, or melody suddenly vanishing or reappearing, because what we're doing right now is working out the bugs. Some users will get some items from Melody (which is cool!) but not something you should feel like you're missing out on 💖

I love giving items away so that isn't a problem for me ;) I was more concerned that something was wonky when I gave 5 of 13 but only received 1.Just trying to help alert to any potential problems ^_^

So I currently am maybe in 2 groups? I got 2 notifications. The first one states: Viewing group from November 30, -0001 I cannot even contribute. Then I got another notification and that one I was able to contribute and is dated for today.
Hopefully not, but I'll take a look at your group just to make sure.
To give you an idea of what this looks like internally (this is very fun for me haha)
The pool has 5 users and 20 items.
• User A contributed 5 items
• User B contributed 5 items
• User C contributed 5 items
• User D contributed 5 items</p>

• Total items available: 20
• Regular users to distribute to: 4
• Items per user: 7</p>
<p>Found 0 special items to distribute.</p>
<p>User distributions:
• User B needs 7 more items.
• Assigned additional items: Item 1, Item 2, Item 3, Item 4, Item 5, Item 6, Item 7.
• User C needs 7 more items.
• Assigned additional items: Item 8, Item 9, Item 10, Item 11, Item 12, Item 13, Item 14.
• User A needs 7 more items.
• Assigned additional items: Item 15, Item 16, Item 17, Item 18.
• User D needs 7 more items.
• Assigned additional items: Item 19, Item 20.</p>
<p>Distribution plan:
• User C will receive items: Item 8, Item 9, Item 10, Item 11, Item 12, Item 13, Item 14.

So you can see that it works through a few different methods of handing out the items before settling on the actual set

right now it's running on a 30minute timer, but come Monday i think I see Keith say it will be like old melody where it resets at midnight
When this is released, it'll be one group per day. Right now the reset script is running every 30 minutes.
