I don't shop at Aldi as much as I used to.

Oh I try to shop there more than I used to.

I just love the quality of their stuff and the "aisle of shame" aka "aldi finds" area

It is fun going into one of the stores and just looking at everything.

I have not went to Dr yet 13 degrees here to cold to go. Never let your hubby live it down, unless you accidentally give it to him. I hope you are feeling better!

What I do in order to get a 2nd cat that cuddles. If they don't like it I will send the blame thing back. LOL, and I will have my cuddle kitty because i will get one a little older to make sure.
I love Aldi's it is awesome, their brand stuff is not always the best. Their quality cold cuts are awesome, their fruit is awesome and i love their pasta, and many of their breads are good. I know I read someone else post but I was bored and I feel blah!

and who i may forgot and lurkers. Oops i did it again! I poofed again! Work.. pfff... I now have 3 days off (yay) so catching up on things.

We had snow here in some parts of the country... my part had nothing! But the sun was out and it is cold (around 0 degrees celcius). Perfect winter weather although snow whould have been nice.

i agree and poor residents who are sick to so sad. It was nice to work a shift at another part of work, i was a headless chicken who was running around (a dutch saying when we don't know stuff). But i mananged and everyone was clean, dressed, smelled nice, had breakfast and meds.

I then went into town as i had to get stuff and i forgot the thing i really went into town for.. a new robe... -face palm-

i did snow but not where i live, so as i said i need to see it to believe it and the weather man was wrong for my part of the country. But would have been nice. Oh your pootr heart, need to be carefull.

Everyone, I wish everyone good health. On Friday I heard a real bad winter storm is coming our way in Tennessee. So everyone stay safe!

- My hubby and youngest son are amazing, hands down. None of us asked for my illness but they have stepped up with no complaints. When I met my hubby I found out that he's a medically retired combat vetran that is rated disabled 100%/unemployable by the Vetran's Administration. It was an understanding of ours, due to his injuries, that I would be the one caring for him when we got older. Instead it turned out to be the exact opposite. He's now taking care of me because there are so many things I can't do because of my illness or other things that just decided to dogpile on. Sometimes I feel like a living medical encyclopedia. o.o As for my youngest, he's only 20 and he's already said that I will never go into a nursing home if he has anything to say about it. He already does all the chores I did and sometimes takes on more while self-teaching himself how to code and make video games. I have so much to be thankful in those two that I don't think I'll ever come to the end of saying Thank you to them. My gratitude is so deep for them. So, I may want a cat but I accept that now isn't the time for various, already stated, reasons. I really do appreciate your understanding and acceptance of this as your friendship and opinion are important to me. :D Hugs

- Yay for 3 days off! Perhaps you'll get some snow while you're off and you can enjoy it before it disappears in time for you to go back to work. We've got about 2 feet of snow outside. Son says it looks so pristine and peaceful. My poor neighbor had to shovel his car out of it so he could go to work. He didn't stop there, though, but went on to shovel the entire parking lot. It was really nice of him and hubby took him some hot chocolate to help fuel his shoveling. We really do live in a very nice complex. The neighbors really do look out for each other. Have you taken your Christmas tree down yet? My dad got upset with us because we didn't take our tree down on Jan 7. He said that the 6th was "Little Christmas" and my decorations should be down the day after. Who makes up these rules? I've never heard of "Little Christmas" before. He said it was a Ukrainian tradition. I still have a lot to learn about my own heritage. :D

I love Aldi, when they have good "ad stuff" it's like an entire experience. They've come such a long way, I've spent hundreds on "non-food" items!

We're slated to get a chunk of snow tomorrow starting early morning, we shall see... it'll be gone within 24-48 hours anyway. Oh 3 days off sounds good, I only get the regular two LOL.

My hubby is disabled too, he is only allowed to work very minimally and the only reason he does is because we have to make ends meet. He shouldn't have to work as bad as his back is but he just has to unfortunately. Often times his days off he has to use to let his body rest because he's so painful.

I'm doing better. Now for it to warm up again XD

it is snowing in the south of our country i am more east. So no snow... we got the cold and freezing part. 3 days off no clue what to do with myself lol! Me and mom are going to the curtain store, i need now ones, tomorrow.

Hey everyone. Sorry haven't been chatty lately. I'm in the middle of moving and its a mountain. Can't take much with me, so I'm throwing away or donating a lot of stuff. But my real problem is my best friend/roommate Rox. For those who don't know, she is a hoarder. It was seriously difficult to get her to start getting rid of stuff at all, and she still hasn't found a place to go - but at least its in the works finally! I told her two years ago this would happen. Two years! Growl And repeated when my mother got sick, then this February when she died, again on my father's birthday when he turned 96, and then again when the eventuality became absolute when my father died this past November. And several times in between everything.

Anyway, she is packing at least and told me (not sure I believe it entirely) that she emptied one of her storage rooms. Yes, she has two. Not to mention the ones here on the property. OMG! Anyway, she plans to fill that one with some of what she has here. But I haven't seen her actually throw away anything, and when I do she digs shit out. Face palm This obsession and living with it has just really preyed on my mind for so long that I just can't wait to finally get away from it. February 1st we are to be completely out and handing over keys. Yes!

omg that's amazing!! I can never seem to go more than 3-4 weeks without forgetting! I really need to start setting an alarm each day haha.

- I'm sorry your hubby is going through back issues. My hubby is so stoic about his issues it isn't until it's really bad that I hear anything. The cold weather here has played havoc with both of our achey bones. I can't wait until it warms up enough that the aches go away. :)

- Congrats on the 300 days in the bathhouse. I'm currently on day 59 of my current streak. I didn't make a goal about it because I always mess it up somehow. 😂 Yes, we both are very lucky in our families. I hear about horrid families all the time and I'm so glad mine isn't like that. :D

- I always hated vacuuming up the pine needles. One good thing about it is that everytime I did the house smelled pinesol clean for days. 😂 We don't have any snow from this storm. We still have about 2 feet on the ground right now. I'll send some your way next time we get some. Oh, in the chaos of the holidays I forgot to ask, how's your resident froot-loop doing? I hope they've calmed down and left you alone. :D

Lord mercy, it's been snowing since 6am here. We don't have a lot compared to places that typically have snow in December and January. But it's a lot for here 5'-8' and then they're talking about more Sunday. I forget the last time we've had this much snow here...
