Hi everyone! Well, we looked everywhere for our Christmas tree and just could not find it, so I ordered another one. Then we found the old tree of course. lol The box was in plain sight out in the open in my mother's room. (It was mine growing up and will be mine again when I move in.) But we just couldn't believe neither one of us registered it was the tree box. I know I saw it at least ten times, maybe more. But it worked out because now we have two. We set up the old one in the living room so people can see it through the window from the street. We used to do that all the time but the last at least six or seven years we set it up in the den, which is in the middle of the house and connected to the dining room and kitchen. We walk through it all the time so it was really neat to be around the tree and see the lights and presents. Love that. Anyway, this year we have two trees so we'll set up the new one in the den and enjoy both. :)

Hi! I always put all the cats on my Lumi tree too. Even have several dogs. A couple in the tree with the cats and one behaving sitting next to it. lol

It's been a difficult couple of days because I wrote my father's Eulogy and Obituary and worked on his picture we are going to use at his memorial on the 11th. Here. I also created a beautiful image of a framed poem. This will be at the beginning and the end of the slideshow of pics we are using, and for any paused moments. The base image is gold clouds signifying Heaven. I overlaid a number of varied frames and background panels of different opacities to still show the clouds yet also have a poem I found be easily read. This is the image. Maybe someone can describe it better than me. :) This is the poem:

@ i loved the movie!! Red One is awesome, worth the tickets and time. I was all alone in the theater so i could sit where ever i want and sing along with some christmas songs. I really enjoyed it.

Are you referring to the ceramic light up Christmas tree that I believe became incredibly popular around the 40s or 50s? If so, yes I am obsessed with them and I have 18 in various sizes and I’m looking to continually add to my collection. 🤭

In the Anniversary Edition of Skyrim you can get a reindeer as a mount. Just have to buy it from Santa (basically).

So I figured reindeer is both Christmasy and Skyrim related.

Hey everyone! Great news for the Rift and Storm cookies! I got the Rift one in the 2nd quest!

News today: As a nice treat for Luminaire, Alexander at the Library has the chance to give out the delicious storm and riftborn cookies from his quests. How'd he get his hands on enough to last the month? Well, he had a very rich benefactor who totally didn't lose a bet.

Like the other 20th Anniversary cookies, these will retire at the end of the month. These two cookies will still be able to go out their original ways.

Happy Sinterklaas eve or in dutch Pakjes avond! Tonight we celebrate Sinterklaas his birthday with gifts, pepernoten and more (Belguim does this tomorrow). Quit night at home for me.

I did had a sinterklaas postcrossing meeting today (i organized it). We went to a tiny sinterklaas museum, did some shopping, had luch where we wrote cards and books. Lovely day sad we had rain.

Not sure I follow, all I know is I have a storm cookie, just wondering what goodies it may bring.

The storm cookie is the storm hoodie for your HA. Its part of the set of cookies. I think you get an achievement when you have all of them.

The Secret Santa is for only one person, not all of us. You give your info and it goes into the hat, then jersey randomly assigns one person to each of us. Only that person is the 5M gift from you. And someone else has your name. Everyone that participates gets a gift and gives a gift. :)

Hey! I've not heard of Alan Wake before. I'll google it. I play Skyrim and Minecraft, like a lot. Also hugely addicted to Rimworld right now. I'm really looking forward to Subnautica 2, which is hopefully gonna be a 2025 release. Also GTA6 eventually.. and even more eventually the next Elder Scrolls game? Although after Starfield I feel like i ought to not get my hopes up too much.

Anyway.. just broke with a 'friend'. Each time we make plans she cancels on me last minute, last summer she did when i was out the door and almost there, cost me a train ticket. Today she did it again,.. i somewhere knew it... as i never bought a train ticket yet. I send her a text telling her how i feel about this, i am no longer doing this and i don't want to meet with her anymore.

I am no longer dealing with these kind of people and i am cutting them out of my life

What race/class do you tend to play in Skyrim? I love Argonians (hence my current username being Saxhleel) and am addicted to being a spellsword. Can't aim well enough to ever be a stealth archer. The only bow I tend to use is the Bound Bow.

If the Elder Scrolls 6 comes out I want the Thalmor to be the main antagonists.

Starfield kept crashing on me so I couldn't play it. Did enjoy what I saw. I'm a big sci-fi fan. Last mission I did was recruiting people into a cult.

The Remedy Connected Universe can be confusing once you really dive into it. Alan Wake is a good entry point as the lore gets more complicated as the series goes on. Part of that is due to how Remedy LOVES their meta.

A simple example is that in the series there is a band called the Old Gods of Asgard. Now in real life the band is called Poets of the Fall. In the first game there are references to the real life band including one of their songs being played.

Alan Wake II was made with new players in mind so you can honestly play the series in whatever order you want.
