- I'm ok. :) I felt bad because I felt like I was giving you false hope, something I wouldn't ever do. I don't like it when people blow smoke up my rear so I try not to do it to others. I realized yesterday that you most likely didn't feel like I was giving you false hope. :) Just as I was climing onto the computer my 2 oldest kids showed up! My oldest son, who immediately started playing video games with my youngest, and my oldest daughter. I was floored. I sat and talked to her and she's wary but understands my viewpoint on things. I'm just glad she's here. It's been years since she came to a family holiday. Now, if the two younger girls could get here I'd be very happy but it looks like they'll be here for Christmas instead. How are you doing? I know it's hard for you but you're one of the strongest women I've ever met, but, allow yourself to grieve. I love you, too. ❤

- I'm glad it's not in there. It's odd what I can remember. Ask me what I ate for dinner two weeks ago and I wouldn't be able to tell you. Ask me about 4 years ago and I'll ask you how detailed you want it to be. lol 😂 Poor kitties, you're ruining their fun! You should get some mouse shaped ornaments. :P

And, if none of you read what I wrote to Chrysariel, my two oldest kids are here for a visit so I may be scarce. Especially since my oldest daughter came down. We don't always see eye-to-eye and this is the first Thanksgiving she's come to a family meal. I'm very happy she's here. If I don't see you all before Thanksgiving, I'm thankful for all of you. Oh no, I never once thought anything of the sort! :) But its always nice to have a person's perspective on what happened when they went through a similar procedure or circumstance, so you have some sort of idea on what to expect. I appreciate that you told me about your experience. Rarely anything is the same, and if it is, not exactly. I expect that. But I never trust any doctor or medical personnel when they utter the famous words, "It's uncomfortable." Sometimes when I've heard it it actually was just that. But there have been far more times when it was really awful to seriously bad and they just flat out lied to me. So it really helps to talk to a person, esp a friend. It honestly did help. <3 Strong? Me? Hmm... lol Sometimes yes. Sometimes no. Depends. :)

So yay on your kids coming for Thanksgiving, and even a couple days early! That's really awesome.

My son and I have been working on other things but getting ready for Turkey Day too. I like spacing the workload out over several days so it isn't so blasted hard. This is really bittersweet for all of us, with Mom and Dad both gone, but they always made the holidays special and were all about family and friends getting together. So we are looking forward to eating and enjoying each other's company, and will miss them terribly, but honor their memory all the same. <3

I got three shots today (Covid, Flu, and Pneumonia). My arms feel like they've been in a fight and I feel a little sick.

- Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! We just finished watching the parade, Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. It's a tradition to watch it together every year. We don't eat until later so the kids decided to go see an old friend in hopes of getting more pumpkin pie. Sheesh, little piggies. 😂 So, I decided to jump on here and see what's going on. It's nice to have the kids here but they take a lot of energy and I find I'm already worn out. I'll get another break tomorrow because my daughter wants to shop Black Friday sales and is taking the boys with her. I'm going to take the time to raid the Cash Shop here. <:D

Emory - Just one more day and then you're on vacation. What are you going to do with all that time off?

I'm glad the holiday brought family time, I hope today was filled with warmth and love. The kind of grief that also brings laughter and gratitude. Been thinking of you.

The free shop hasn't been opened since 2022 I believe. It's an NPC shop that at times opens up and you just click a mystery box and get an item. You don't know what you're going to get, and it can be fun.

I hope everyone was able to enjoy today. We don't do much in November as far as the holiday. Christmas is our big family holiday and thankfully both our immediate families and my best friend live in the same town so we get to go one place and be with everyone! We used to attend friend events, but as people have had kids and spread out no one really hosts anything anymore. We don't really celebrate the "Americanized Holiday" ourselves because it's really a pretty picture painted over some horrible truths. Gratitude is something I try to live, so the part of the holiday that's beautiful to me - being grateful - doesn't mark the day as significantly different from other days lol. So November for us is about our anniversary, loving autumn and all the feelings of autumn, and a little boost in our mindfulness when it comes to gratitude. Johnny does love to cook, so he still makes a "special" meal (though over the years this has changed with my dietary changes too) and usually we have dog guests because some of my clients will have family over to their homes and so their pups with big feelings need someplace to go lol. Like this year I'll have my two "god-dogs" here for the day. This Christmas may be a little different because we're not sure yet what will be going on with my in-laws.

I hope everyone gets some goodies from the cash shop black friday sale. I significantly underestimated how many pretty things I was going to want lol. I think we need a bigger gap between the BF sale and the CW pawn shop because they're tempting me to dang much to put my pocket money towards the pixels xD

Hi everyone! Well my Thanksgiving was really nice. Very much enjoyed eating and the time together. One thing we wish had been different was that the plumbing decided not to work... oh joy! Ugh. Hopefully will be fixed today.

Busy decorating home for christmas

I'm glad you had a lovely time! What is it with yesterday and pipes!? Our garbage disposal / under-sink pipes started leaking! Not as bad as other plumbing issues though for sure x.x LOL

Good news all - Cranberry's eye has healed super well! She has some "fogginess" that will fade with time, but we're done with medicine which I'm sure she'll appreciate (eye drops 4x a day and liquid squirted onto her gums 2x a day).
