I've never played Skyrim either and I agree with completely…you're making it sound like something I’d enjoy! I have a hard time doing all I want to do here on Subeta 🤪 but if things ever slow down for me I’ll check it out. Interesting fact, I had a great great AUNT (not sure how many) who fought in the Civil War as a man, her name was Rosetta Wakeman and I just found out earlier this year!!

Just a warning that I thought I could play it casually earlier this year...it has now taken over my life. I currently have two playthroughs going on. I'm also writing a fic series (currently two parts planned but leaving myself open for a third) of a Skyrim/Remedy Connected Universe crossover.

- I never got through the intro play-through. Whya? Because my darling hubby kept trying to tell me what to do and it annoyed me. So, I stopped playing and went back to Guild Wars 2 where he couldn't tell me what to do. 😂 I'm glad you're having such a fun time! I hope you share your Skyrim based stories as I'm interested in reading them. :D

- I didn't say anything because I didn't see anyone else say anything and so I just kept my lips sealed. But, I just couldn't hold the secret in any longer. That's why you got so many books last year, because I knew how important books are to you. :D ❤

- I knew there was a tread but, like I said to Chrysariel, no one else was saying anything so I went with the crowd and kept "mum" about it. I'm not so sure I'll be able to do the same thing this year, though. 😂 ;)

- Thanks, sweetie. And thank you for the lovely description of your HA! Otter friend? Where did you get that? Is it a CW? I love otters and would love to have one, unless you're talking about the ontra lifelike doll? You know, if you're interested, you can make outfits for me. My only requirements are that the outfit not be extraordinally expensive and the items have to be readily available for me to get. ie, don't use an unbuyable CW in the outfit. ;) If you're willing, my favorite colors are orange, purple, and red. (This goes for everyone here. If you want to create an outfit for me, please do!) :D

- How lucky, winning a Christmas tree! I hope your fluffy bundles of fun leave it alone so you can enjoy it through-out the season. They're probably just not sure what it is right now but I'll keep my fingers crossed that they're good kitties. :) My hand is doing better although it is sore from typing. You'd think that it wouldn't get sore from that considering how much typing I do. 😂

- I'm sorry that the Christmas fair wasn't very good. It's so disappointing when something is advertised as good and then turns out to be a disappointment. Do you have your Christmas tree up yet? We're putting ours up later today. It'll be a Halloween themed one again and I can't wait. :D

I think I drove my hubby from Soma because I kept talking. Plus it wasn't a style of game he usually liked. But at least I was talking about how to solve a puzzle and not constantly chattering during the intro.

But that opening twenty minutes...he shouldn't have told you what to do. It's the intro section to get you used to the game so...yeah O.o

The only thing to talk about is choosing your race as that affects gameplay. ESPECIALLY if you decide to do Survival Mode. I wouldn't recommend doing an Argonian for a first time on Survival Mode unless you really want to up your difficulty (they freeze sooo easily OMFG!).

But if you're like me and go for aesthetics and not doing Survival Mode right out of the gate, the stats don't matter. I chose Argonian because they look cool. I chose a man as I didn't feel like playing a lizard with boobies.

Even if he was really big on which faction you should join that isn't determined in the intro. You can join one faction and change sides by handing the Jagged Crown to the other side.

...wait...did Alduin (big bad dragon) attack during your playthrough?

- I just made a human man. He didn't tell me that what race you choose would change game play but I've played enough of those games to have an understanding of how they worked. I don't think my guy even got out of the cart he was riding in when he woke up, hubby was so annoying. I just got up and told him to play the game since he was so keen on it. 😂

If you didn't out of the cart you wouldn't have chosen a race.

Hey all, I'm working on recovering from a two day in-office work stint. My introversion and anxiety just flip out having to be in a office setting.

It literally drains me and works my body and mind into a serious mess. It creates a wirlwind of emotion and feelings.. causes me to get out of routine and it's beginning to be crippling. Of course to top that all off I missed Mysterious Melody two days.

it was a let down, loads of advertisment that there will be a christmas market and then it's so tiny and hardly there. I do hope next year it will be better. No tree yet, debating of getting one or not....

Mom eurm i mean.. told me to call the doc about my backpain and me going to the toilet loads of times, i was thinking a UTI (bladder infection). So i did listen and called this morning. Brought in a sample and now waithing for the results.

- Yeah, I can see why that's such a let down. Perhaps next year it'll be better. We don't have Christmas Fairs here but I'd love to go to one. Maybe someone will start one here in the future. We're putting our tree up tonight. It'll be quick since we have a small artificial one and it doesn't take a lot of ornaments or lights. :D

well it came out... with nothing not even a double test. Weird they say as i have symptoms. There advice: drink loads, take pain meds and if by monday it's still not better then come back. Sheesh... -takes an extra cranberry tablet and paracetamol-

Oh I am so totally on it! I'll come up with an idea for you :D My husband is gonna be so excited to hear that one of my friends is a Sanderson fan! Or a Sander-fan as it is said haha. He LOVES all of his works and just read the newest book in like three days. I have to finish the Sara J Maas books that my bestie turned me on to, but 2025 is the year of Sanderson for me! He already has the reading list ready and can't wait for me to finally read them!

Did they investigate the potential of kidney stones? The most recent time I had them, my symptoms were all UTI symptoms until the stone finally got lodged. I tested negative too and was confused as heck.

Stardew Valley is a cozy farming/dating game. It plays into the fantasy of me both having my own property, running a successful business, and being able to live on my own.

- Well, that is odd. But if the test doesn't show the presence of bacterium then there's no point going on a antibiotic. Faune may be right and it's a kidney stone. It also may be that the sciatica is so enflamed that it's affecting the other nerves around it making it feel like you have a UTI. I hope it clears up on it's own, and quickly. :D

- Oh, I LOVE Brandon Sanderson and have been avoiding spoilers like crazy these last couple of weeks! You'll love his books. Don't get discouraged by the start of the Stormlight archive. Sanderson loves to throw his readers into the deep end to see if they'll sink or swim. Sara J. Moss is really good, too. Which series did your friend turn you on to? If you can, read all her books because they all link together into one really big arch spanning worlds. :D
