100% keep User Stats, Oracle Quests, and Quests in general!

I also echo that Bathhouse is important to me, I always always forget about it unless I can see it. Right now it's in my bookmarks but if they're being removed I'd love it to be on the sidebar somewhere.

Perhaps something to maintain a list of our own links? Like the Notepad (I assume... I don't actually use it) but we could pop in a link and a name / description and personalise our own links. Then I could keep Bathhouse, Ruffie Raffle, Ikumoradeekanox, all those types of once-a-day dailies I need to be reminded of.

I responded earlier and gave an overview of how I use Notepad, but here’s more specifics.

Holiday or short-term stuff This could be links to anything related the a current event that I want to be able to quickly access. Depends on the event. Forums, games, holiday achievements.

When I was first working on books and gourmand, I’d put links to the shops here. I don’t need that anymore, but it’s part of the flexibility of reminding me where I want to put my energy and quickly getting me there.

Gourmand Link to the pools for appetite renewal during holidays Fresh and Flavorful when something new gets released - I usually remove this one and only add it back when needed.

Stat related stuff- this is to remind me of the places where I might get a stat that are dailies I wouldn’t normally remember to do or links to places to go when I have an item to use there. Coin machine Gym token Ikumoradeelanox Job agency Mage quests Zapper

Currencies that I don’t have daily action on For every other currency than the ones I listed separately above, I have one link to the shop search for it and another link to turn in the currency. The turn in is especially helpful at holiday time, when I am trying to buy something and get alerted my inventory is full. I can click the one link to deposit the currency that’s probably clogging it up and then just go right back to where I was without half a dozen clicks.

So, in short, it’s kind of like a to do list for me. I set priorities for the site, which can change from week to week or year to year and I use notepad to prompt me to tend to those and/or move me quickly around the site to those places. Subeta doesn’t always get a lot of my time, but I’m nowhere near ready to quit it. So when I only have five minutes to pop onto Subeta, I want to do my top priorities without a lot of clicks.

Also, on top of loving that you’re asking us about this, I’m thrilled to see how other people use Notepad and I’m definitely going to adopt some of these ideas while we’ve got this iteration. The customization is amazing.

My used ones are: -User Stats -Navigation (Could the logout button in this be moved to a better placement when you make a new version? On mobile it's hard to avoid clicking when trying to go to the news. Being able to customize what links/sections are in it would be good too because I find it a useful section but I only use a handful of them.) -Shop List (I'd love a way to select favourite shops to only see those (or have a second separate widget for favourite shops.) -Notepad (My notepad usually has extra links for quick navigation/battle pet related links, and occasionally during events I use it to make a link for dancing/etc with someone if they don't have a link anywhere on their profile.) -Quests -Oracle

Maybe a widget for quick pet healing, and another for pet incomes would be useful?

For the notepad it'd be great to have some easy way to style text within it. Maybe also being able to have multiple (though limited) notepad widgets could be cool to have them at different places on the list? I do hope the bookmarks stick around though because the most important links I like having right at the top of the page without taking over other important space but if we could have multiple notepad widgets (again within reason) they might be able to fulfill the same role! Additional functionality like ability to make check boxes could be helpful too for instance for goal tracking!

Similarly to other people here, I use the Notepad for holiday interactions. Not everyone I dance/kiss/flower/ToT for holidays are people on my friends list, so the notepad is the easiest way to keep an active link around for them! I also occasionally put achievements I'm going for there, though I'm less concerned about that as I could just as easily write that down on a note at my desk or a word document on my computer. I don't know the logistics of the notepad widget, so I understand if it's one that needs to be cut, but I really do like it and would love to see it carry to kumos if it's possible!

Going through my widgets one by one:

User Info I like to know how much Sp I have, but otherwise I use this almost exclusively as a quicklink to my vault or the my pets page. I guess the buffs thing is nice but I rarely take notice of it.

Battle Pet Primarily used as a way to see whether I need to check training or not, somehow I check this more reliably than my notifs which I habitually ignore. Also good for quicklinks as I'm bouncing around while battling.

Quests I use this as intended, I assume, in that I do my quests straight from these links, though honestly I usually only do 2-3 kinds and leave the rest so maybe if it were customizable it'd be better? Could add item hunt, as I have mine in my notepad.

Shop Search My goodness how would I get anywhere without this? 😂 Seriously, I love this guy, why am I doing so many shop searches.

Notepad Mine is just a list of dailies. A good list of dailies or a better reminder system for things like buying from hustler or ruffie raffle would replace this entirely for me.

Oracle I always miss my dang oracle notifs so I keep this one open.

I also have a list of bookmarks on the other side I'd love to just replace that AND my notepad with a customizable list of links I can cram into a box somewhere. I don't need a full nav bar, just my favorite places.

I would also find a bathhouse widget useful, and events (particularly if they can be split into categories, like Trick-Or-Treat/Dance/Forum/Custom Wear Shops/Mail, etc.

The sidebar widgets I need (well, the ones I use most regularly) are:

Melody's Cottage (ok, I admit that I keep that all year round, as the first year I tried to remove it & put it back in again in December, I realised it was a pain to try and reorder the widgets! :P) The Oracle User info (the section where you see your current on hand sP & CSC) Notepad (this one is essential, as it holds all my lazy links!!) Friends Online Battle Pet (an improvement would be if I could actually pick which pet features in this section, as currently it automatically takes my active pet) Shop Profits and finally, Quests (mainly for lazy links to the quest givers :P)

The ones I use most often are: User Info (sp, csc etc) Active Pet Events Quests Site Navigation

The quest list and events are the most helpful to me!

so happy it's gonna stay! i use it all the time i can't imagine the site without it. thank you for including it :) The ones I use are: User Info Shop Search Your Avatar Friends Online Quests Friend Feed Shop Profits Oracle Quests (it can be tricky to know if you have one if you miss the original pop up so this way i know if i have one)

Widgets I absolutely need on my sidebar are the quests one and the notepad one. The notepad one I use for quick links to dailies (high priority) and dancing/ToT/etc links during holidays (lower priority), so any widgets that could perform that same function would work if you’re against the notepad one (maybe a bookmarks widget could work instead.) I really do love the versatility of the notepad though, especially reading how others use it, and to be honest I don’t think I’ll end up using the new site much without it or something else that I can use for the same purpose.

I use the notepad to add actions of friends that may not be online at the time of an event, but I want to kiss them or throw a dance their way very easily so they can benefit from trinkets/hearts, etc. at a time they're very busy and cannot play as often as I can. Also, some of my friends like to hide (like me) and so I put them in my notepad as well :D

I will also toss my hat into the ring for a bathhouse widget!! I'm tired of forgetting :P

As for the rest, I use the main one, the friends online, quests, Oracle, Melody during Lumi, and search bar.
