I remember that all right. Drove me nuts that even words that had the most innocent connotations were censored. "Therapist" was another such word. How that filter read and changed that one boggles my mind still to this day.

I just thought about the live streams Keith used to make, anyone remember these?
Long cat/4chan wars. Lost my first account wayyyy back then and had to start over so this one isn't as old as that one was (RIP).

I remember one of the ways to buy a gold account being to send the money via snail mail along with a letter saying your username LOL
The trivia game 😭
The wizard tokens before their visual re-design. Just saw the images for the old ones today and I went wowwwwww
I remember the restock wars we had. I've still got the I got as a prize for being in the winning team for one of them. SubetaLodge confirms it was a restock war prize but doesn't give further details.
I remember when Keith put out youtube videos talking about Subeta. I miss those. Also being so excited about the avatars and my first piece of clothing was and I thought it was the coolest outfit ever lol
I remember the first restock war we had. This was a time when we could only restock a certain number of items per hour. It made the restock war very difficult because participants kept running into restock bans and had to wait until they were allowed to restock again.
Another restock system we had in the early days was having to enter a code in order to buy an item. The 5 second wait now can be irritating but it's a lot better than having to enter a code.
Then there was the Rotten Rogue who used to turn up randomly to steal an item from player inventories. She retired long ago but is still referred to in a book called Rotten Rogues Guide to Antiques, a set of adventure comics and a plushie. I think she should be running the Antique Shop instead of Moana. 😁
Someone half mine age asking how to change their Luminaire tree to nothing...mine answer was mine never gknew how to put one up in the first place.
when there were no human avatars ;o;
I remember when Costume Trunks first came out. They were just a complete outfit. Later on the complete costumes were broken down into individual bits and pieces and Costume Trunks were then sold as a set. Now we can buy individual items from costume trunks.
Haha I remember the original avatars. There was one that you got by specifically making a post with the word "teh" in it. I also remember the rollout of human avatars and how clunky the old wardrobe was, and how EXPENSIVE just about any clothing item was. All the items were SO cartoony, too.
Also, pets... like the retirement of the Slushii, renaming the "Dragon" to Rreign, and the rather worrisome release of the Mahar. It was originally called "Sage" but this is also a term used on the same site responsible for the Longcat debacle, so the name was changed to Mahar to avoid another raid.
Not so long ago, when genderless pets weren't an option during creation. Tho it never grabbed mine's attention then.
When the site went down for a week or month or some long amount of time. Each year the time I think Subeta went down gets longer and longer XD
I remember the Oracle Token Shop that Elwood ran! Mystery boxes restocked at midnight and cost wizard tokens - you couldn't see what items were in them until you bought one. I don't remember when that went away, but certainly over a decade ago.

AH I remember oracle tokens! I think it's so funny that the site got rid of them to simplify special currencies and now look where we are lol
