Happy independence day to those in the USA ❤
Oh no, I hope you're feeling better hugs Doing a ship in a bottle looks so extremely hard. I don't think I'd have the patience to be able to do one XD My hands aren't very steady either. That's awesome about the dino!
thanks. I'm used to it. Hurricane season is also my worst for migraines. I'm a weather head you see and barometer changes lead to migraines. Yeah it does look hard but also awesome :D
Oh dang :O That makes sense though! I did see that we're already on B >_< I live far enough inland that we don't usually get too much damage, mostly just lots of rain and wind.
- What were we talking about? I can't remember. :/
- Would you make those urls into links for me. I can't grab them with my screen reader. I don't know how to copy/paste stuff like that. :)
- I missed something? What did I miss? x.x
Bahaha no worries I forgot too. I went to look and we were talking about the ending of Throne of Glass (: How are you doing?
- That's right. lmafo! 😂 I'm doing ok. floundering around trying to find some more good books to read. You?
- /thank you. :D How is your new place? Is it all you drempt it to be? :D
No worries! It's okay, I spend most of my time job hunting or writing lol I try to drown out the kids with music and youtube, they are so loud lol
All we can do LOL
What kind of crafts do you plan to do with the new stuff?
Wow that's pretty far! No closer small aquatic centers or something near by?
I am doing well how about you?
Just lakes and the sort.
- I read yoour work on wordpress and joined your group. :) You've got a good start theree. I'm interested in seeing where you take it. One thing I noticed is that you tend to use the same word in adjacent sentences. For example, "She drove to the burned out area. She parked in an area away from the shop." Where the word "area" is used twice in adjacent sentences.Rewrite it to say, ""She drove to and parked in the burned out area." The rewrite shortens the sentence and eliminates one use of the word. This streamlines your work. :) I know all about noisy kids. My pack used to be very noisy until I yelled at them to go outside and play. :D
- I know you told me this but I can't seem to find it. Who are other good romance authors to read besides Maas and Armentrout? :D
- just hanging in there waiting for it to be Autumn again. It's getting closer every day. :D
I'm so glad you made it safely and have a job set up 😍 When do you start?
How has reading been going? :O I'm reading the Powerless series by Lauren Roberts and goodness it's so good. I'm on the novella right now, it's book 1.5 and it's breaking my heart 💔 But it's wonderful. The second book just came out a couple of weeks ago so I'll be starting that one next.
- I'm looking for a new series right now. What's the Powerless series about? I'm reading the Wings of Nyaxia series. It's a bit like Court of thorns and roses and the Ash serie (jennifer Armentrout.)
Sometime this week I start! I'm so ready to get started, I hate waiting around doing nothing for long periods of time ;.;
Thank you for the feedback and thank you for reading it! I didn't realize I was doing that :) Yeah they spend most of the time inside on their tablets and I want to be like please leave me alone lol
That's true, also I love your HA! The background is very lovely!
Aw thanks! My ha keeps changing on me so not sure which it was xD
Lakes are Def fun! Having a good week?
Love me some fall and pumpkin spice lattes LOL
- Most people don't realize they do that. It's easy to correct. The first time you write something, read it out loud. You'll catch most of the issues right then and there. :) You could just fart on them to get them to leave you alone. 😂
- I can't wait for some pumpkin spice lattes.Plus, I love the way the outside smells when it just stops raining and a big blustery wind blows through with a bunch of leaves. Smells like everything good. :D
Its been a bit cray cray here. Let's see... I had 3 violin lessons on the week of the fourth. One with my normal teacher, and two with two other teachers. My violin school gave me those other two lessons to see if another teacher would be beneficial to me. I'm getting a little disheartened with the rhythm training she is giving and all. I found the second teacher to be fun and engaging so I have a lesson with her next week. We'll see--I might change teachers.
Besides feeling down. discouraged and what-have-you with my violin progress/lessons, I've also been working on my stamina, which is greatly depleted with so many times that i have been in the damn cast. It wears me out to walk a long way....
Which brings me to my doctor's office calling and telling me (over a month later) that my bloodwork showed markers for either arthritis, lupus, immune disorder or inflammation. Well we know I have inflammation (broken foot) and I would not be surprised with arthritis at all. In fact I've been told to expect it and already thought I have it in my wrist. But I have to follow up with a doctor on that and see which of these I have and what they can do with it. Certainly some of my walking pains maybe included in one of these. IDK
Dad needed to go to the er the other day with a gushing nose bleed. Of course it was during a downpour that had rain coming in sheets... and naturally it got my cast wet. But the doctor's office told me to wait for my appointment the following day as it was almost closing time. It did dry out lol eventually. I did, however, get my cast off yesterday!!! WEEEE!!! And I'm celebrating in a week or so with a nice bubble bath. I am still adjusting to the cast being off and it's hard to walk for awhile but I'm still working on stamina. so yeah, lots of things at once lol.
Colorful-yeah it's supposed to be a full hurricane season.... oh joy. I live in central GA so we can get the winds, rain and pressure from all fronts lol and we have. Maria was a horrible one for my head. That was when we lived in ATL and I thought my head was going to explode. How's it going ?
Evilredduckie - er I think it was the migraines I have with weather systems. lol but I don't remember to be honest. How are you?
flyingkat- I do scrapbooking, knitting, sewing, painting mostly. It depends on what item it is. I got some ceramic dinosaurs that I've been painting. I did the raptor already but I need to finish the triceratops. I also got some vinyl sheets to do with sewing. I've made some pouches to sell for my shop and stuff. I also so a lot of bags. Do you do crafts?
Yaas that little cool breeze is the best!
I do enjoy crafts but I don't do them as much as I would like. Mostly right now it is just helping my son do ones that are fun for him LOL exciting about your cast I feel like you have had to wear that for ages! Sucks about the arthritis that can be so painful T.T
- Yaayyy! for getting the cast off. Now, let's leave things alone and not have a cast for the next week. If you can go castless for a week we'll think about more long-term options. :P I'm glad it's gone. You reallly are a whirlwind of activity. We should call you hurricane Raven. :P
- And the pumpkin seeds. I love eating them. And they're so plentiful at that time. So, it's win/win! :D
