Been to the zoo yesterday in Amersfoort with friends. Had a nice time with nice weather. THe next few days will be extremly hot here and guess who has to work.. me..

Oh I LOVE the zoo! I grew up going to the zoo probably almost every weekend and it really fostered my love for animals, wildlife, and conservation. I actually then worked at the zoo for 8 years! I started in the education department handing animals and teaching children, then worked in the "animal ambassador" department, then the cheetah team! It was the most amazing experience and I do miss it but I had to leave because I ended up under a truly narcissistic boss who caused the whole team to turn over in less than two years. But it put me on the path I feel I'm supposed to be on, and I can always go back one day if it feels right. Did you see many cool animals?

My bonus mom (mother in law) is doing better, she got a trach put in day before last and she can start PT now. Her first day was good, gave us a lot of hope that she will regain use of limbs! Grandfather still in the hospital, but no bad news at least regarding him. Johnny (my husband) got news that his job offer is coming this week, which is a huge game changer and life saver for us. So grateful! The flooding didn't damage too many things. We're a little nervous about mold or foundation damage, but God willing it will be fine! The insurance agent came out to inspect and was so great - giving us lots of info to make sure we got the most money in our payout and helping us avoid any tricks from the remediation companies. I've been feeling a little better overall. We just made some changes to my medications, which hopefully will help. I started working a little bit more and it's felt pretty good, so I'm feeling relieved. Still "climbing" upwards but optimistic ❤️

Subeta-wise I was gifted some potions from an amazing individual ( ❤️) so my kiddos are donning their beautiful new looks. I just got everyone to the second level of their jobs! Now working on the very mind-numbing work of reading 40 more books to 50 pets x.x I'm working on world building for my group of pets that are part of a new story I'm creating and on creating reference sketches for Zeridyn because is going to do a commission for me! I'm trying to learn profile coding for the user profile because I'd like to be able to separate my pets into groups. My inspo is . I know she'll offer some advice, but isn't super active atm so in the meantime I'm trying to figure it out. If anyone is fluent in user profile coding please feel free to share some tips!

Brian is content with the one he has and hasn't looked into any details about getting one via the doctors. My main concern right now is him getting an appointment with the dermatologist to see the odd thing on his neck. I'm going to go full nagging mode come tomorrow.

Hi everyone. Waves Doing pretty good except for the (insert heartfelt strong colorful metaphor here) heat. It's normal for this time of year but every year I hate it and just wish I could take off for a second home somewhere a LOT cooler through summer and fall... but alas not for me. My brother just left on vacation with a friend for Colorado. So jealous! Oh well. Staying indoors as much as possible. Just step outside in the furnace heat tho and it sucks the breath right out of you. Bleh!

What is wrong with Brian's neck? Glad he got a new tester and it was cheap. :) Thankfully they have come down significantly in the last few years. My first one was over $200 a long time ago. Luckily my insurance paid for my new one, but now they are not paying for some of my meds they have covered for years! It's such a pain and now my doctors are trying to swap them out for ones they will pay for and its just frustrating and seems really arbitrary and nonsensical. For instance, they paid for my brand new long lasting insulin (my doctor was not sure at all they would), but quit paying for my short term insulin I've been taking for years. Ugh.

Oh that's horrible! I hope they can get control of it soon and that the skies will open and rain a deluge to help put it out. I would be scared for dmystry too!

The zoo sounds fun. I used to love taking the kids and going when we could afford it. But I haven't been in ages. I would need a wheelchair to go now. Can't walk very far or long. Went to the grocery store with my son today, and that's about my limit. Been hurting ever since. But I wish we could go sometime. <3

The zoo was great i saw all animals they had accept the tigers and lions they where inside not sure why. I wanted to see the snow owl (Harry Potter) and i did! And the monkeys where so cute!

You can pray for my wack job of an neighbour will get evicted or something like that. And for me that i will keep my calm and cool at work these hot days as some residents.... sheesh!

you would love this zoo, wheel chair accesable (?) and so many animals you can see close by! And they even have a wheel chair if you need one for free! Just a loaning fee of 1 euro. Wich you get back when turing the wheel chair back in.

The air is improved a bit and I don’t need to mask up for a short time outside. The fire near dmy is being contained. I was over grass land, grazing land so mostly livestock and outbuildings affected, but still heartbreaking. The fire wouldn’t have reached where she lives unless it jumped over lots of farm land and water. Was more worried about smoke. She has asthma.

Saw Frozen touring Broadway production yesterday. Wow.
