- cake is always good. ;) The medication change has me loopy but it'll even out eventually. :) The book was the last in a series that I never would have picked up if not recommended by a friend. The series is called The Court of Thorn and Roses by Sarah J. Maas. The last book, the one I just finished, is the best in the series although the first one comes in a close second. Now, I'm reading Brandon Sanderson's "Tress of the Emerald Sea." It's good so far but I've only read part 1 so the rest remains to be seen. :D

i can understand that as your bosy needs to adjust to the changes but it;s good you sleep better. Never heard of that book.. Her last name Maas is Dutch.. but never heard of her. -looks books up-

- She's an American author who writes romance novels. I'm actually thinking of reading her latest series. :) Well, the medicine change certainly did knock me out but I was back up at 4am. I'm going to give it more time before I judge it, though. :D

I enjoyed my Mother's Day. My son made enchiladas, my favorite that he cooks, and gave me chocolate dipped strawberries. Mmmm! He also gave me a purple rose in a globe that is supposed to fully bloom when left at room temp. (But right now I'm keeping it in the fridge which is why it has condensation.) So pretty. Rox gave me orange carnations. They smell nice. Always loved them. But it was bittersweet too though, for it was the first without my mother. I miss her so much. <3

I am currently traveling with my mom. Seeing family and my mom’s college friend. Saw the houses my parents lived in when young. It is tiring but neat.

My fur babies gave me nothing lol And my own mom did not want anything and as i was working i could not go. She likes it more when i surprise visit her and surprise give her stuff then just on mothers day

- I'm currently sucked into the Crescent City series and it's pretty good so far. :) I had a good Mother's Dauy. We ordered Mexican from a little mom and pop restaurant down the road and watched "Rush Hour." Jackie Chan is always so funny. :D

Hello friends! Been very busy lately and haven't had much motivation to sink into much but I was given an extra day off work this week and have finally found time to jump on and do some questing.

I picked up a second job and I'm not sure I'll ever be fully rested again :/

Last Friday we started a drive down to California to see family. Stayed overnight in Nevada because we are not spending 10 hours driving in one day. Got home yesterday. Sooooo tired. Seeing family was good.

We are trying to be safe, and hoping we have no evacuation notices in our area .... we just want to have some sun shine, but I guess rain is nice as well.

Hi all. Been doing a lot of procrastinating lately. Mom had a bad bit of dizzyness today. First time in awhile. :( Have planted flowers in many pots. Mom wanted more so I have more planting to do. Love the way they look but I am not a gardener. I don't like playing in dirt. But I do it. And they do look very pretty.

Glad you had a good trip. It sounds tiring. So hard to believe I used to make that same drive (well, an hour less) 4 times a year (there and back) every year nearly until 2022 (from about 1998). I definitely couldn't do it anymore.

Did not much.. i did do the kitty litters as they had to but other then that couch potato!! Loved it. Seems those books are good... as you are really enjoying them.

had a little accident with her bike while riding to work. As car did not give priority while she was on the bike lane and she had priority before the car. She is ok, bike is smashed, bit brused and sore but thankfully just that. So if you where wondering where she was... that's why...

Good Morning to you and all the lurkers out there lurking lol Our recue dog, Cooper is turning out to be an angel in disguise, he is handsome and wonderful, but I feel like I wake up with a mouth full of fur every morning.... Bleh!!!! Can any one help with this problem. I just want to sleep with out coughing or a dry mouth in the morning.... Cooper is Aussie Blue Healer and Spaniel cross and he has 2 layers of fur which flies all day and all night even after brushing him. This can be deleted if not allowed to be here... I am just asking, thank you all
