We put on bird videos if we have to go away for awhile. They also really love horses. If a horse in a game or show is harmed they will cry out.

There are horses in Skyrim and I have to turn the volume way down due to them freaking out when my horse gets injured. They will wake up from a dead sleep to make sure the horse is okay.

We're safe! The home we're staying in had high winds and hard rain and the internet is out, but we never lost power save a few flickers and we did not flood. Not sure yet about home. The last photo we had from our ring camera the water was at the house and rising. Easily 3ft against our poor neighbor's house. Praying it stayed in the garage and did not flood the primary living area but the power / internet is still out so we have no way of knowing. My one neighbor stayed and told me they're okay but will never stay for something like that again because it was the scariest thing she's ever experienced. She tried to send me photos but there's not service.

It truly was a one-of-a-kind storm. All of central Florida and most of Florida as a whole experienced the storm at the same time. The east coast had high winds, tornados, and rain while the west coast was battered with the surge (both regular and reverse which almost never happens) along with the rain and wind. Folks across the whole state lost power, saw tornados, had flooding, etc. I've lived in FL my whole life and have memories of hurricanes from very early on, but this new.

So far all my friends and family are safe.

Oh yeah, the tow was 30min to the truck, then an hour and a half to the house, then an hour back and they do hourly from when they leave their business to when they get back. omg. But it was worth it. We're worried for our poor truck, depending on what actually broke and what got damaged because of that we may need to replace the whole engine. Which is gonna be insanely expensive. But I love him so much I don't want to let him go.

I suggested this modification as a way to do mass reading, hopefully it's something they can do: Would it work to have a "reading room" type page off the library where we can "turn in" books (maybe like we "turn in" currency items to certain folks or recycle beast items) and then combine that with an auto-train type feature? Perhaps this could be a trade-off where the books we turn in are not counted as the specific book, but rather as a "point" and then we could select an auto-train type feature where we read x # of books to X pet, and it takes X amount of time? BUT, books only count as being "read" to the pet if they are read individually? So turning them in and auto-reading will increase INT but won't have specific titles show up as read by the pet? Maybe a certain # of pets can do the auto-read for free each day, and doing more pets in that day costs a little sP and/or is a perk of the GA / Subscription? Alternatively, all pets can read x # but reading more would be the cost / perk?

Also ABSOLUTELY need a "mass remove" for the TC.

- I'm glad you were able to get the comb. :) I'm also happy that you and yours are safe. True, the truck and house may be totaled but you have what really matters with you and you are all safe. :) The first hurricane I ever experienced was Hurricane Charlie. I thought I was going to die of fright from the howling wind and the rain. omg, it was flying sideways and it stung like it was sleet or hail. Then our palm tree in the front yard fell over. Thankfully it didn't hit anything. It did miss our van by about 6 inches though.I tell you, you've never experienced a storm until you've gone through a hurricane. ;)

I went to a creative fair today. Did some shopping for my bullet journal, did some workshops and chat with loads of people i know. So tired when i got home and was not feeling ok. After a nap and a shower i am feeling better. I think the waffle with whipped cream did not agree with me...

Basically, you dress up in a costume and trick or treat at your friend's profiles. They give out little goodies like candy or toys. You can also go in the Pumpkin patch that is in Shadowglen. Again, you can find candy, toys, or minions. It's a lot of fun. (You don't actually have to give candy out at your profile. The site does it automatically for you. ;) )

Glad you were able to evacuate to a safer area! I too am in Florida (North). As for us, since it wobbled south once hitting land, it wasn't as bad as we expected but still dealt with some rain, high winds and flooding. I don't remember having this many major tornados during a hurricane (but I'm not a native Floridian - only been here since 2003 so seen enough though). My hubby is a native Floridian and survived Andrew so he tells me all about it. They actually declared him dead in it because when his roof went, it sucked him out of the house and into the Miami canals. Rescue teams didn't find him for days afterwards and he was in bad condition. Just thankful the gators didn't get him.

Sorry to hear about your truck. I hope it isn't as expensive as we fear to fix it. I hope your house wasn't too damaged :(

Your birds are so interesting! I had a friend a long time ago that had wolfdogs. They were always watching the tv, and they would search behind it to find the animals that were calling out, esp the ones in trouble. They were always reacting to the shows.

I was in a hurricane many years ago. I went to Houston to visit NASA, and we were going to Galveston afterwards. Never made it to either one. Alicia happened. Ugh. We stopped in to visit a friend and weren't able to leave. There were 19 tornadoes at the airport and high winds and flooding. It was bad, but we were fortunate that the block where my friend lived never lost power, but everyone around did. On the way back, the 40 minute drive to Huntsville took five hours. Then only three all the way home to Dallas. Strange trip. Every time I planned to visit NASA, something happened. I finally gave up when Fate threw a hurricane. lol

A hurricane is a pretty good sign XD
