I wanted to buy a ticket for visiting the eiffeltower next month (gifted myself a trip to Paris for my b-day) and i only could pay by mastercard or visa. I have neither... :( Luckly my dad has one so after work i went to my parents and got a ticket. I got one to the top with a glas champagne ( i thought i deserved it as i am there on my b-day) lol
Work has been hot, stuffy and no fun. Little heatwave here. We are suffering from lack of nurses due to summer break, to much shifts are not filled and each day we are a nurse short that we can manage but sometimes we have 2 short and well that's no fun as we can't do our work propper and care is not good or safe for them and us. And all higher up says we have no one fix it yourself... One of these days my bosy and me are fed up and my co-workers too.
lol yes and went on a boat tour and that was nice to!

Finally rain after 3 days of extreme heath! And work being under staffed, hot and no fun at all...
Still stuffy in house though, the temps just won't go down... Hope it will cool down soon

Yay for rain! Want some too. October hurry up! I always wish we could have June and July be summer, and autumnACTUALLY start in August and carry through until November, and winter start after that. Never know when or if we will have Fall here. Sometimes it just skips it or its so rainy all the colors are muddy and hardly change. But sometimes it can be really nice. I love Fall colors everywhere and the wonderful chilly temps.

Mooz says thank you! Well rain was short and yet agaon sunny and stuffy. I like your idea for the weather. Our fall is nice our winter sucks... rain.. rain and more rain. Would love a propper winter with snow, etc.
I would love more snow in the winter. If we're lucky we might get a few flurries. If we're really lucky, it might actually snow and stick for a few days. It would be great to have that repeated a few times. I just don't want snow to pile up for a month and have to deal with that. I'm picky! lol

Two days ago Brian went to the ER due to falling and becoming incoherent. He was moved to the ICU due to low blood pressure. Yesterday he was moved into the hospital as they were able to raise and stabilize his blood pressure. They think this incident was caused by his antidepressants.

I'm hoping he won't be there much longer. Really miss having him around the house.
we get no snow or we get snow and ice. Hardly any snow that sticks for a good while and looks nice. Always slush in a few days.
hmm nurse here from anti depresions you can't get a low blood preasure... Must be something else, physical or maybe an illness or meds that can't go together or with his (if i am correct) blood suger meds... But i do hope they find out what it is and he is on the mend soon. -hugs-
So tired today just can't shake it off. And can;t be a couch potato today as i am working an evening shift
They said there was some build up in his kidneys or intestines hence the low blood pressure. But he's also on a lot of meds (he has three slipped discs) so it could be they weren't interacting with each other correctly.
I think yesterday they were allowing him to start taking some of his normal medication.
Brian just texted while I was writing this and he said he might be let out tomorrow.
i think that maight be the case or something else. But it's good he is at te hospital so they can figure it out. Hope he does come home today
Catching up as things here have been a lot still, so spending time online / chatting has been hit and miss.
I'm glad to hear the fires have been contained more and that you feel some relief for both your sister and yourself. Frozen had to have been great! We've never seen a Broadway play before but would love to! Hard to choose when there are so many amazing ones in production.

I am so sorry to hear about Brian, that must have been so scary. One of the medications I trialed was one that effected blood pressure. I took it once, passed out, and switched to something else! Maybe that was the same med. I'm glad to hear that he's doing better and may be able to come home. Maybe they can look at his neck while he's there.

THe thing i miss the most now is not being on vacation at the islands, it was so nice. I am a bit bored today and i miss the autopricer that comes with a GA. Can't we just get it even if we are blue.
