I hate the winds almost more than the snow as we have so many old trees and somehow our power often manges to go out during the winter - but usually not for long though. It's been super windy here for the last few days but no outage. 👏

I'm watching MASH on Hulu right now. I'm already on season 7 and I love it. I saw reruns back in the 80s and I knew that it was time for bed after the show was over. The reruns normally came on after the news. I'm also rewatching Voyager, since I tend to like Janeway a bit more then the other captains at the moment. I've seen pretty much all of the Star Trek shows out now.

I was thinking it was kind of an Autumn HA. I recently got the head item and the dress was the only thing I had that matched. :-D Events often seem to start on Tuesdays and it drives me crazy as that's the one day of the week that I'm extra busy on. So yes I think you're right it will be Tuesday. :-)

they do, and most of the time the UK versions are way better then the US. so glad my books subs are through the UK just with US sites xD

i can't sleep when its windy and wind storms can be bad here as we have lots of fields, so no trees to stop the blasts. the last storm we had thankfully it wasn't cold as the power was out for half the day.

s - I'm a notoriously bad speller. Even if I could see the names. I had to look up how to spell Logen Nine fingers name because I realized I'd look like an idiot presenting a point about him and not knowing how to spell his name. XDXD I'll try to remember. :) I'm not liking the part of the book I'm in right now. I don't care about the monsters, etc. What's got me up in arms is this relationship Vita and Penelope are sliding into. If I remember correctly, Vita is 12-13 and Pen is 17. I don't think this is appropriate I also don't like the whole way the "relationship" is presented. Vita states very firmly that shee's not attracted to Pen that way and yet Pen persists. Call me a prude, or whatever but if someone says No, then they mean NO. :/

- I've noticed that also. It always seems like they have the good cooks on during the weekend. Bah, they should have them all week, I say!! 😂

nah, Vita is sixteen years old when the book starts, though she looks younger to most people (she believes this is due to malnutrition when very young - another possible explanation comes up later in the book, too).

She and Penelope are very close in age. So at least that is one thing you don't need to worry about.

I hope so, because otherwise we'll have to wait even longer (unless it's tomorrow! That'd be great but seems really unlikely to me)

- I honestly thought she was 12 and lying about her age to help not just herself but her family. So, the whole Pen crush thread of the story is just creepy to me. If she actually is 16 then why make such a big deal out of her age in the beginning. I don't get the logic behind the story in that regard. If that makes any sense. XD

I'm always tired and I shouldn't let my chi sleep with me as he likes to snuggle near my face and then he stretches and puts his paw in my face and it wakes me up.

So your power goes out too huh? So not fun! A few years ago ours went out when it was way below freezing out so we went to a restaurant and spent as long as possible eating. :-D We rarely go out to eat but that time felt like it was worth it.

I'm pretty excited for it to start too. Mostly for the new items though. lol

The initial story logic is to explain/elaborate on why everyone else thinks Vita is younger than she is, and maybe to emphasize exactly how badly she was starving. I mean, in the real world girls generally go through puberty when their bodies reach about 100 lbs of mass, whatever age that is, and some actually don't hit puberty till the late teens if they are very small or underfed, though it's rare for it to be as late as 18, it can happen. And others can't fully believe that Vita is sixteen, even though she is (and says it). You should trust her narration to that extent; she's not that kind of unreliable narrator.

The new Picard is pretty good! It has a different feel then Next Generation did. So, don't expect it to be the same. Some of the characters from Next Generation are in it, so it was nice to see some familiar faces :)

How old is your chi? If it's an ingrained habit that pup will not let you not sleep with him!
